= 2.5 inches total additional sea-level rise, after 100 years, from 0.0128 mm/yr² acceleration.

Continued for 200 years it would be 4× that = 10 inches additional sea-level rise.

For comparison — coastal tides vary a lot, but average 2 to 3 meters.

That's about 30× to 50× the amount of sea-level rise you'd get from 100 years of acceleration at 0.0128 mm/yr².

It CANNOT measure near coasts, the only places where sea-level matters.
