Seed (Vegetable) Oils: The Main Reason Americans are Fatter & Sicker than Ever

“Why?” you say…

Let me explain⬇️

“The Hateful Eight” as they’ve become to be known:

Soybean
Canola (aka Rapeseed [wtf kind of name is this lol])
Corn
Sunflower
Safflower
Cottonseed
Grapeseed
Ricebran

These are the oils on the chopping block.

Avoid them like the plague.

So how did they come to be?

In 1911, Procter & Gamble (🤮) brought Crisco to market by chemically altering the Cottonseed plant to create an oil that somewhat resembled lard.

As Procter & Gamble was (and is) an enormous brand, they went on a marketing tirade and attempted to convince the public that this new oil was healthier than Saturated Fats.

They succeeded… selling millions of pounds of Crisco within just 5 years and they haven’t slowed down.

The fact that large orgs and the State were able to convince that newly-invented, chemically-altered & heated oils were healthier than red meat, eggs, & butter is demonstrable.

It’s just straight-up profit-mongering at the expense of the public’s health.

What’s more is that ~75 years ago, Canola Oil in particular was actually only found in the inner workings of aircraft

Canada got very good at growing the Rapeseed plant during WWII to help with the need for lubrication in the engines of fighter jets.

After WWII what happened? They had a surplus of this oil, so after some work from Baldur Stefansson & Richard Downey, they convinced the public that Canola Oil was safe for human consumption.

Mind you, all you need to do to make butter is churn raw cream.

Why are these fats so bad for us?

It has to do with the Polyunsaturated Fat (PUFA) & Omega-6 content. Our bodies don’t know how to process these kinds of fats in large quantities.

We haven’t adapted to run on foods created in the last 100 years. Simple.

So what does this actually mean?

The more our society consumes these oils, the higher our rates of diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and many other health problems.

They clog our arteries and give us love handles because our bodies don’t know how to digest them.

Humans have been eating:

Butter / Ghee
Tallow / Lard
Olive oil
Coconut oil

And animal & fruit fats in general for hundreds (if not thousands) of generations.

We are now on generation 3 of this seed oils experiment.

It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if these oils were sparsely consumed… but start reading ingredient lists on your food (ideally, your food shouldn’t have ingredient lists but that’s a topic for another day).

You’ll realize that they’re EVERYWHERE.

99+% of restaurants use them to cook with, so you better learn how to cook your own meals ASAP. It’s a life skill.

One recommendation if you MUST eat out is to ask the server if the chef can cook your food in REAL butter because you are allergic to seed (vegetable) oils.

You hear stories of people going to Europe, eating whatever they want & drinking like a sailor and somehow LOSE weight.

This is because most restaurants in Europe still use olive oil & butter to cook with. It’s not rocket science.
