All right, let's look at results. Chanel & Shannon got told that their hatred isn't welcome by the community once again.
Shannon got less than 10% of the vote, being crushed by Lyra, who pulled 55%
Chanel came in dead last with 18%

This is especially sweet as Shannon doesn't live in Zone 6, he's only running there because he's a transphobe and he wanted to specifically run against Lyra. Except he got owned once again.
Other candidates profiled did poorly tonight.
Rasha Alnaqeeb - 14%, 3/3
John Bitzan - 11%, 2/2
Maher Jebara - 27%, 2/4
In OCSB, anti-LGBT incumbent Glen Armstrong, comes in 3rd place with 27%, and equally far-right Pat Suwalski bringing up the rear with 6% in Zone 6.
Getting rid of Glen Armstrong is a huge victory.
Other Campaign Life Coalition and Vote Against Woke candidates on the OCSB also lost.
Zone 3: Paul Safi - 24% - 2/3
Zone 9: Guillermo Fernandez - 24$ - 2/3
Cameron Bonesso, who is not far right but who supported PP while PP was delivering coffee to the thugs occupying the neighbourhood he sought to represent, also is significantly behind with not many votes remaining to count.
Finally OCDSB Zone 2 is the one close race. @Alysha4Zone2 has a narrow lead over Ashley Darling. But with 90% of the polls counted, I'm feeling good about her chances.
@Alysha4Zone2 If these results in OCDSB Zone 2 hold, we did it -- we stopped any of the far-right, anti-LGBT, or "anti-woke" candidates from getting in at the school board level. #Ottawa #OttVote
Finally, let's check in on our good friend Tyler...
With 4% of the vote, it's safe to say that his strategy of "support a fascist occupation then run for office in the area of that occupation" didn't pay off.
As for city council, all the rest that I've profiled did poorly. Best showing was long-time anti-LGBT lobbyist Joseph Ben-Ami with 12% and it just goes down from there.
Update: With all the polls reporting, Alysha Aziz defeats Ashley Darling in OCDSB Zone 2!
