3. A 53-year old retiree who wished to contest as an independent has been stopped from submitting his nomination papers after arriving late.
Habib Bourguiba Abd Hamid expressed frustration over the matter, saying a lot of the roads were closed on his way here.
4. Khalid Samad has pledged to resolve issues related to the redevelopment of Kampung Sungai Baru if he is elected.
He says the development, which was brought about by the BN administration, only helps developers and does not benefit the people.
5. Meanwhile, Johari Abdul Ghani expects that all candidates will face challenges with the entry of young voters, which make up 16% of Titiwangsa's electorate.
He adds that it is necessary to begin including voter education in the school syllabus.
6. Pejuang's Khairuddin Abu Hassan notes that people should not be celebrating the imprisonment of ex-PM Najib Razak.
"Ini bukannya masa untuk tepuk tangan. Kita kena terus berdoa untuk beliau. Everyone makes mistakes," he says.
