SUI token aligns incentives across network including operators, users, and owners. Whether SUI is used for staking, gas fees, source of native on-chain liquidity, or as a claim on future governance, the SUI token enables a distributed and decentralized network.

The total supply of SUI is capped at 10,000,000,000 (ten billion tokens). A share of SUI’s total supply will be liquid at mainnet launch, with the remaining tokens vesting over the coming years or distributed as future stake reward subsidies.

10% of TS is for the team and 14% for Investors
Contributors Get 20%:
Those who are spreading knowledge about Sui, onboarding developers onto Sui, testing and helping refine the product experience of Sui’s current applications get a share.

⭕️6% Goes To Community Access Program
That let Sui enthusiasts obtain SUI directly without having to participate in the Foundation’s programs. These tokens will also support members who have interacted/tested Sui Apps during the devnet and testnet phases(YOU).

⭕️ Good News / Bad News
🔸The bad news is that if you are not a builder or a pro/power user probably a share of that 6% is all you get.
🔸The good news is there are still a few doors open to earn some extra tokens with open and coming programs.

Ok, First Testnet Wave 1 ended. You can only use devnet now and no reward for devnet fullnodes.
Wave 2 will begin in early 2023. No more info is shared.
🔸My best guess here is that Snapshots have been already taken. 📸 But apparently NOT YET

⭕️ Community Reserve (50%)
🔸Sui Foundation supports and empowers builders and creators on the Sui ecosystem. Projects that add long-term value to the Sui ecosystem.
🔸Delegation Program allows you to run a validator to apply for delegated SUI tokens from the Sui Foundation

🔸So if you are among the builders/validators/Researcher you might be able to find a spot for collecting extra tokens.
For others, if you did the devnet/testnet tasks I shared you should be on the safe side BUT still, I recommend playing with devnet in case of more snapshots

Ok, What you can do is if you are a new user keep using the devnet and wait for testnet wave 2 in 2023, Hope that snapshot is not taken and you still have time :) 🤞
