Since I wrote about Alba's other book a few days ago, thought I would do a thread about his 2021 book: amazon.com/Great-Demograp…

Prevalence of mixed combinations:

Mixes of 2017 births:

How kids of various combinations identify as:

Educational status of parents of various mixed race combinations:

Rate of marriage by parents of various mixed race combinations. The lowest combination among whites is black father white mother:

White/Hispanic mixes seem to have pretty high incomes. Could possibly be because the Hispanics in these relationships are high %Euro ancestry.

Asian/White mixes seem close to whites:

How groups say they would be seen:

Who multiracial Americans marry:

Stability of mixed Asian White Identity:

Diversification of top cohorts of jobs:

As we can see, the purpose of this book is to craft a narrative to make demographic change more palatable to whites:

Wants to make sure the counting method doesn't "scare" anyone:

Perhaps we need to get rid of future projections altogether. After all, the daily stormer is charting this as well.

Says that @epkaufm prediction of mixed group continuing to identify as white is unlikely given the mixed ancestry of this group.

Says that "western societies" can't prosper without immigration, but in many cases they can't prosper with immigration:

The book doesn't address the politics of multi-racial people, but they seem to lean to the left:

He also never adrdeses any problems that may be disproportionately found in interracial families/ children:

Nor does he address the racial preferences that multiracial may receive, and why they may be incentivized to identify with that. (as @Steve_Sailer calls it "flight from white")

Overall thought it was hollow on a lot of issues, and clearly ideologically motivated, but still has some interesting data.
