Its mound is made of quartz & granite: home to passageways & a single tomb
At dawn on the #WinterSolstice its middle chamber is illuminated by a ray of sunlight shining directly through an opening
Solstice derives from the Latin meaning “sun stands still” because, for about three days, the sun appears in the same place on the horizon before moving back in the opposite direction going the other way
