Sort of like ABSITE studying itself, our high yield #absite graphics series this year had some highs and some lows. What better way to reminisce than putting them all in one place... 🧵(1/n)
We kicked it off with the ruler of tricky anatomy, the #thyroid (2/n)
Found its close friend and confidante and remembered our dual criteria for the #parathyroids (3/n)
Hung out with our #ENT colleagues who are close neighbors in the head and neck (4/n)
... and even said hi to our #carotid #vascularsurgery friends up there (5/n)
We took a trip down into the chest for some #thoracic review (6/n)
And finally found ourselves in the abdomen staring at some #benignliver cases (7/n)
Which was naturally followed by the other #hepatobiliary trouble makers that live in the #RUQ (8/n)
And of course are a hop skip and a jump (via the portal vein, obviously) from the #colon -- which you need to #screen (9/n)
and sometimes intervene on for #benign etiologies (10/n)
We traveled to the retroperitoneum to visit the #adrenals (11/n)
and our pals in #urology (12/n)
And reminded ourselves how grateful we are for the respiratory therapists, (13/n)
nutritionists, (14/n)
and hematologists who have figured out a lot of the trickiest aspects of our trickiest patients (15/n)
We gave a nod to the folks at the head of bed and wondered how they remember all that pharmacology (16/n)
And remembered those #biostat terms we had forgotten after the MCAT (17/n)
It's been a fun ride, and we're thankful to everyone who has followed along and provided feedback. Time to #dominate the #absite !!! (/end)
