👀Discover how #WorldMobile dynamic network is revolutionizing connectivity and connecting the 🌍world like never before!

#innovative #network #backhaul

It is 🧵thread time! 🤝

#WorldMobile has previously discussed #AirNodes and how they connect customers to the network. These AirNodes communicate with the Internet and #EarthNodes, where the blockchain protocol resides, via a process called #backhaul.

Connecting to the Internet is simple for World Mobile customers. They can connect from their smartphone to the nearest AirNode or directly to one of World Mobile's aerostats, which are large AirNodes, and they'll be up and running very soon.

Backhaul, however, is more complicated due to the vast amounts of data moving around modern networks. In older mobile networks, users are connected to phone towers which are then connected to the operator’s core network via fiber cables or microwaves.

This is a hierarchical network with a central control point and everything is star-wired from that point. However, this approach is expensive and doesn’t reach everywhere efficiently.

#WorldMobile uses a range of backhaul technologies depending on the area they're connecting.

These include:
Fiber optic cable 🚠
Microwave transmission🔌
Satellite internet🛰️
Free space optics (FSO)📡
Integrated Access & Backhaul(IAB) 💻

World Mobile's aerostat solution (tethered balloons in the sky) minimizes the number of fibers needed by providing coverage in a 70km radius. They can even mesh balloons together with microwave links.

In isolated areas where there aren’t enough people to be efficiently served by an Aerostat, #WorldMobile uses satellite internet as the backhaul solution. This allows them to deliver high-bandwidth backhaul almost anywhere in the world.

Free space optics (FSO) is another solution for high-bandwidth backhaul. It uses encoded beams of light to transmit data between two points through the air and doesn't require a spectrum license, reducing operational costs.

#WorldMobile can also leverage cellular technology like IAB to use the cell itself to provide its own backhaul. This allows the cell to mesh with other cells and reach the Internet, making it a very resilient solution.

World Mobile's dynamic network design means they can adapt to any environment, from remote farms to urban areas. Customers can even buy an AirNode to connect themselves & their community, which backhauls through existing satellite internet or a balloon
