Work sucks and I’m feeling sad so let’s have some milfKuroo femTsukki #krtsk fluff !

‘Kyanmaaa,’ Tetsu whines, her head resting in Kenma’s lap. ‘What if she doesn’t like it? What if she says no?’

‘Kuro, she’s literally been obsessed with you for almost five years now. You live together. She’s not going to say no.’ Kenma sighs, absentmindedly braiding a few

Strands of Tetsu’s hair together as she pouts.

‘You don’t know that for certain!’

‘Who’s saying no?’ Hinata asks, rounding the corner to grab his gym bag from the living room. He leans down to smack a kiss to Kenma’s lips ignoring the boos from Tetsu.

‘Tetsu’s going to ask

Kei to marry her.’ Kenma replies.

‘Kenma that’s a secret! You can’t tell her friends!’ Tetsu shouts, sitting up looking scandalized.

‘Oh! Congrats!’ Hinata beams at her. ‘There’s no way she’d say no, she goes all googly eyed when she looks at you still.’

‘You can’t have

Expected I was going to not tell Sho,’ Kenma says, shrugging their shoulders.

‘You can’t say anything to her Hinata, I mean it! I wanna make it special and she’s not going to say yes if you blurt it out to her before I’m ready.’

Hinata mimes zipping his lips, jumping around

The room as he gets ready to leave.

‘My lips are sealed! But seriously, she’s gunna say yes!’

When the door clicks shut signaling his departure, Kenma looks over to see Tetsu still pouting. They sigh before moving their arms out of the way, allowing Tetsu to place her head

Back in their lap.

‘Tell me the plan one more time.’

The day of their anniversary finds Tetsu nervously shuffling through the house, making sure everything is in its place. She’s texted all of their regular visitors to make sure no one interrupts them.

Their plans this

Year were low key, with Kei working full time and playing for the Frogs as a starter, she wanted something calm with just the two of them. She made Tetsu swear to nothing extravagant when she left for work this morning and Tetsu promised, ushering her out of the door.

Dinner

Wasn’t extravagant, she huffed to herself. She had begged Kenma for the day off so she could make Kei’s favorite dessert from scratch and start cooking her favorite meal. Luckily the preparation kept her mind mainly focused and besides stressing over the table settings and

Overall state of their house, she didn’t have time to worry about Kei rejecting her proposal.

Logically, she knew Kei was more likely to say yes than no. They had talked about it, vaguely, being married one day. She knew Kei had barred any public proposals which had never been

An idea anyways, and knew that when they did get married, Kei wanted to keep it small. She knew Kei loved her and was committed, both of their names on the deed to the house, but there’s no reasoning with nerves sometimes.

Kei was due home any minute, she had gotten the text

From her that she was on the way and she dashed upstairs to change. Nothing super fancy, just one of the deep cut button ups Kei seemed to like so much along with a black pair of high waisted dress pants, a few pieces of jewelry, a few dabs of the perfume Kei got her last

Christmas and she was almost ready. The finishing touches was the small box, which looked bulky in her pockets so she dashed back downstairs to hide it by her seat at the table. She had just found the perfect place for it when she heard the door open.

‘I’m home,’ Kei called

Out, hanging her bag on the hooks by the door before slipping out of her shoes.

‘Welcome home, darling.’ Tetsu met her at the door, pressing in for a kiss. ‘Dinner is almost ready, you should have just enough time to change out of your work clothes.’

‘Is there a dress code?’

Kei gives Tetsu a once over, raising her eyebrows when they make eye contact.

‘Nope. You can even come down naked, I’d be fine with that.’ Tetsu grins as Kei laughs, heading upstairs.

‘I’m sure you would, perv.’

She moves back to the kitchen, flitting between it and the

Dining room, moving food as it’s done to the table. As the oven dings, signaling the final pieces of the meal finishing, she hears Kei walking back downstairs. When she brings the final touches Kei’s at the table already, sitting in the same spot she hid the box.

‘Kei, darling,

Trade me seats.’ She cuts to the chase.

‘Why?’

‘Because,’ she tangles their hands together, pulling slightly until Kei starts to stand. ‘I said so.’

‘What am I, a child?’ Kei clicks her tongue, rolling her eyes playfully but allowing Tetsu to direct her to the other chair

Without fuss.

‘Shush. You look lovely, doll. Absolutely divine, I’m tempted to skip the meal and go straight to dessert.’ She wasn’t kidding, Kei had put on one of her spring dresses, a pink flowing thing accented with tiny strawberries, a complete juxtaposition of Tetsu’s more

Business casual look, but it worked.

‘I wanted to be comfy, sue me.’ Kei raised her nose as she sat down, immediately pulling her long legs up to cross them in the chair, bare feet poking out.

‘That’s fine, love. I mean it, you look gorgeous as always. Happy anniversary.’

With the simple act of them settling in for dinner, Tetsu feels her nerves flow away. Any doubts she had in her mind are chased away by the way Kei crinkles her nose at Tetsu’s awful jokes over the meal, failing to completely hold in her laughter.

When Tetsu brings out the

Dessert, the light in Kei’s eyes solidifies Tetsu’s plan, warmth flowing through her veins as she takes in the woman she loves.

‘Kei, I have something for you.’

‘Hm? You swore no gifts this year.’ She pouts at Tetsu.

‘I did, but then you gifted me with your beautiful face so

It’s only fair I get you something in return, baby.’ She grabs Kei’s hand to place a kiss to her knuckles, laughing as Kei blushes.

‘Shut up, you’re embarrassing,’ she hisses but the corners of her mouth twitch upwards.

‘I am. And I will continue to embarrass you for the rest

Of our lives, unfortunately. Now shush and let me say my piece before you interrupt me.’ She takes a deep breath, trying to remember the mini speech she had in her head, but it’s lost to the sight of Kei in front of her, so she wings it.

‘Kei. Darling, baby, love of my life.

Every day since I met you has been a gift-‘ she starts before Kei snorts, laughing.

‘Please save me the cliches, I love you too, just gimme my gift,’ she giggles, and Tetsu’s smile just widens.

‘Patience is a virtue, hush or no gifts for you. Be glad I’m not quoting poetry or

Something worse.’ She threatens, scooting closer in her chair.

‘Fine, fine. You may continue,’ Kei rolls her eyes but squeezes where their hands are connected.

‘As I was saying, every day with you has been a gift! You brighten my days, you’re the moon of my night skies, and

The sun of my daytime. Every morning I wake up to see your face next to mine, I have to stop and pinch myself to prove that this is real, that I’m lucky enough to have the privilege to hold your heart in my hands.’

Despite her attempts to remain collected, Tetsu knows she can

Feel her eyes starting to water, overcome with emotions before she can even get to the point. Kei’s gone still, giggles fading away and eyes widening as she must begin to connect the dots. Tetsu pauses for a second, and Kei takes her chance.

‘Tetsu, are you going to-‘ she tries

To ask but is cut off by Tetsu sliding onto one knee, grabbing the box. She gasps, her free hand coming to cover her mouth while the other hand has a death grip on Tetsu’s fingers.

‘I had a speech planned, you know I did, and one day I’ll remember it to tell you. Right now, all

I can think of is how much I want to wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life. How much I want to be able to introduce you as my wife.’ She tries to pull her hand back so she can open the box but Kei won’t let go. Both of them are starting to cry, but Tetsu laughs as

Kei refuses to release her hand.

‘Darling, I need both hands to open this box and do this properly.’

‘Yes. Shut up, yes,’ is Kei’s response as she ignores the box completely to throw herself off of the chair into Tetsu’s outstretched arms.

‘I didn’t even ask the question

Yet,’ Tetsu gets out in between wet kisses, both of them freely crying in each other’s arms.

‘What, were you planning on asking me to do our taxes?’ Kei sobs, sassy even through tears.

‘Kei, sweetheart. I hope those are happy tears.’

‘They are. You get one chance to ask me

Before we move it upstairs, go.’

‘Will you marry me?’

Tetsu barely gets the words out before Kei’s lips are on hers again.

‘Yes. Of course, idiot.’

‘My fiancée’s so rude, I’m telling everyone you told me to shut up and called me an idiot when I asked.’ Tetsu teases. ‘Do

You wanna see the ring?’

Kei nods, and Tetsu finally gets her hand back so she can open the box with shaky fingers, letting Kei look at it before she takes it out to slide on her finger.

‘I have a gift for you too,’ Kei says after they’ve spent a few more moments on the floor

Holding each other. The words are spoken directly onto Tetsu’s mouth, Kei refusing to give her an inch of space.

‘I told you, your face was gift enough.’ She argues.

‘What if I said your gift is that I’m not wearing anything under this dress,’ Kei pulls back to smirk at her.

‘I’d say I need to open my gift now.’

‘Bedroom.’

‘I don’t know, I think the floor here seems pretty nice,’ Tetsu counters, pulling Kei into a deeper kiss, threading her fingers into her hair.

‘I’m not fucking my fiancée for the first time on the kitchen floor. Bedroom.’

Tetsu groans, heart jumping at the reminder of her saying yes, surging forward for another deep kiss before she attempts to stand and lift Kei up at the same time. Kei laughs as she struggles, before taking pity on her and standing on her own.

‘Let’s go.’

‘Oh fuck, I told

Kenma I’d tell them what you said. We should call them and like your friends and family and stuff, baby.’

‘They’ll still be there after, let’s go.’ Kei demands, and Tetsu caves, allowing herself to be pulled upstairs.

Afterwards, they lay in bed together, Tetsu tracing

Patterns on Kei’s skin.

‘I love you,’ she murmurs as she presses a kiss to Kei’s back.

‘I love you too.’
