The CIA has studied telepathy and telekinesis since at least the 1970’s. This 1992 declassified document relates to “Phenomenological Research” with a stated objective of pursuing “the most promising basic and applied research in understanding anomalous mental phenomena (AMP).”

AMP is divided into two categories:

- Anomalous Cognition (AC): the awareness of information that is considered otherwise shielded from all known sensory channels

- Anomalous Perturbation (AP): the perturbation of physical matter under conditions of complete isolation

So anomalous cognition (AC) is telepathic/psychic abilities, where information is obtained or transferred using only the mind. On the other hand, anomalous perturbation (AP) is telekinesis, where the mind is used to affect a target. In other words, AMP is kind of like the Force.

Coincidentally, as the CIA was pursuing this line of research & determining that these are real phenomena, the Star Wars universe was being dreamed up. I probably don’t need to tell you how involved the CIA is with Hollywood and look at what a huge cultural impact Star Wars had.

Historical:

“Serious government-funded research of both these domains began in 1973 when the CIA initiated a modest effort to determine if a genuine anomalous phenomenon could be verified and to assess the degree to which it could be applied to general intelligence problems.”

“Modest” efforts by the CIA beginning in 1973? Looks like we have another coincidence. That’s the year that MKULTRA was shut down and Director Helm ordered all the files on the project to be destroyed. Could it be that the projects just continued under different names?

In 1986, the Army began a major long term study w/ 3 major objectives:

- Provide incontrovertible evidence for the existence of AC & AP

- Determine the physiological and physical basis for AC & AP

- Determine the degree to which AC can be integrated into intelligence community

The results:

- An information transfer (AC) anomaly exists that can’t be explained. Insufficient evidence for AP.

- The central nervous system/brain of individuals with AC ability responds to isolated AC stimuli

- Discovery of possible physical transfer mechanism for AC data

What we see here is essentially a continuation of Projects Bluebird, Artichoke, MKULTRA, etc. We’re told that those programs were shut down but here is evidence that certain studies not only continued, but in the 80’s and 90’s they started outsourcing the work to corporations.

Science Applications International Corporation, or SAIC, is one such company. By 2002 they were the countries largest privately held infotech company with $6.1 billion in revenue. How much of that revenue came from lucrative government contracts?

This means that many of the biggest secrets and tech of the CIA, NSA and other alphabet agencies are in the hands of certain private corporations with revolving doors to those same government agencies. Seems like a problem to me.
