New @SmartAirFilters SA600 just arrived, e-thot for scale😁 Purchased, not a review unit.
So far- very well designed, no app nonsense, intuitive controls, excellent build quality. Filters were easy to pop in (pulls air from both sides).
Three speeds. First is basically silent, second you can hear but would not interfere with conversation, last is quite audible but something you'd want for an unmasked family dinner or other high-risk situation. I agree with the choice to include it and give people the option.
I can't test the specs but @SmartAirFilters is reputable in that regard and I think the CADR is most likely as advertised. My Xiaomi HEPA filters are a bit annoying with various UI issues and app tie-ins, I will most likely replace them with these as they wear out.
It's also worth mentioning that the frequency of the SA600 fan noise is a tad lower and more throaty than my Xiaomi. I have pretty high levels of background noise at home but anything with a high-pitched whine goes straight in the trash. SA600 is good in that regard.
Oh, after a while the LED indicators go to sleep to keep things unobtrusive. Very stealth mode and well thought out👍🏻
