Elon Musk and the BBC Hit-Piece

The MSM, this time the BBC, targeted their new Hit-Piece on Twitter owner @elonmusk

They claimed through ‘anonymous insiders’ that Twitter under Musk can't protect users from trolling.

Let's look at the veracity of this claim. /1

When you see someone claim they are a “Disinformation Expert” you can infer this is a trumped up title, used to stop free speech and any dissent of the MSM.

@ggreenwald has written at length about the fallacy of ‘journalists’ being proclaimed as “Disinformation Experts”. /2

The reason for this is to place the MSM as judge and jury.

It makes them the arbiters of truth.

This allows them to convey the agenda of the deep state whilst not allowing any dissent from independent journalists or the people. /3

The BBC reporter begins with “exclusive academic data” along with “twitter users” to convince the reader that there was an academic basis behind her contentions

What is the basis of this academic data?

Also random twitter users were used as proof! This indicates an agenda. /4

The claim is that protections on twitter are “difficult to maintain”.

This level of reporting is horrendous. What were the protections in place in the previous iteration that are no longer in place now?

What is the relevance of Musk’s bodyguards? /5

The reporter argues that because previous “head of content” employees have been fired, one assumes they have not been replaced.
But then an ‘engineer’ said now “nobody’s taking care” of the work. He hasn’t provide any numerical data to show the decrease in staff in this dept. /6

The BBC reporter makes a number of vague statements and once again provides no data for the alleged claims.

She then claims online hate towards her has increased once again providing no data. /7

The worst thing about this entire hit-piece is that the “sources” used as evidence were the reporter and disgruntled employees.

This was then used to attack Elon Musk, as the corporate media is upset that they no longer have complete control over the narrative. /8

She gives data though and it's an increase of 69% of followers of accounts she claims are misogynist.

Not actual hate just follows.

So what she is actually saying is that she wants twitter to ban accounts that do not conform to her liberal feminist ideals. /9

What is worse, the leftist feminist reporter has ignored any other kind of groups who could possibly have received attacks in the previous or current iteration of twitter.
What about people with disabilities, or racism or Islamophobia? No, it's all about feminism. /10

I post about polarising topics and so I receive a significant amount of hatred and threats, but I expected this.

The BBC failed to mention anything but feminist talking points.

The only difference is that feminists complain about these issues. /11

The BBC reporter is using herself as proof and naming Uni of Sheffield adds validity but this is unscientific.

The abuse I receive has increased but that is because I speak about polarizing topics, that would not be an indicator that online twitter hate has increased. /12

The evidence that the “nudge” tool is no longer effective are messages sent between the reporter and another person via a private profile.

That is the whole basis of the claim which is simply ridiculous. /13

What makes this article a larger demonstration of extreme feminism is the claim that Elon Musk reinstated a number of accounts including that of Andrew Tate as proof that hate speech has increased.

They decide if you have free speech. /14

We have learnt through the Twitter Files from reporters such as @mtaibbi that the basis of these bannings in the previous regime was politicised.

So what MSM really want to do is curtail free speech. /15

The BBC used research from “Institute for Strategic Dialogue” a think tank which focuses on liberal leftist issues where they research “disinformation” involving climate change, election integrity etc.

So the MSM used a think tank with a leftist agenda to attack Elon Musk. /16

The MSM then let out the real motive behind the attack.

The fact that Elon Musk released the Twitter files. Exposing the infiltration of Deep State into the media.

The BBC attempts to downplay that and make it seem like there was a nefarious agenda. /17

The claim Twitter was a refuge for journalists really means that the corporate media no longer has carte blanche to stop dissent.

The fact that @elonmusk has reinstated accounts of alternate journalists such as @21WIRE shows journalism on twitter has been revived. /18

So despite the fact that Twitter has removed 400,000 accounts due to child exploitation, this was minimised by the MSM because the goal is to attack @elonmusk rather than actually protect social media users.

The MSM are the arbitrators of who can have free speech. /19

The corporate media through their arm in the UK, the BBC, attempted a hit-piece about Elon Musk.

They failed.

Twitter has become an option for real journalists who attempt to hold power to account and present the truth to the public. /20
