Here´s why I believe it´s quite the opposite... 🧵👇
@poopie posted a bold statement that you could not have missed by now.
According to that, Doodles is no longer an "NFT project".
What does that even mean?
Well, nothing other than what they have been working on and talking about.
Why is this important?
Because the NFT space will and needs to change.
Adaptability and innovation are key drivers that projects need to consider.
Mass adoption won't happen just because #Meta or #Amazon is involved.
See the trend?
"BUT my favorite project is so innovative and has awesome utility."
Please share what else but whitelists, v2 drops, merch, irl parties ... ?
These alone are not a long-term sustainable driver to remain competitive in a market, in which everyone literally offers the same.
Kodak, Blockbuster and Blackberry are prime examples of companies that failed to keep up with industry trends.
First to market does not mean forever to stay.
Any of these names ring a bell?
5 characteristics every successful project needs are:
➡️vision
➡️persistence
➡️innovation
➡️commitment
➡️respective asset leverage
A project pump by your favorite influencer will only last so long.
Without the proper strategy, most projects are doomed to fail long-term.
Doodles is just doing this - product thinking.
It is a bold move in this market state (and a bit poorly communicated) but I believe this is the way to go.
The NFT is becoming part of the project, not longer the project itself.
Is this the next step to real utility❓
As a matter of fact, I believe the term NFT needs to evolve.
Currently, the public sentiment toward NFTs is very negative.
This is not solved through gaming or phygital content.
Read through some of the comments, if you need further evidence.

- Literally everybody when fudding their bags.
Let's look at the big picture. Let's allow innovative moves.
We won't stay forever in a WL-to-flip, airdrop grinding degen space.

Regardless, I am super bullish on the space and expect nothing less than a bright future.
