Brigadier Ademulegun was the most powerful soldier in Northern Nigeria in the Ist republic & second most powerful soldier in Nigeria. The North had strong fate in him, reason Ahmadu turned down a plea from Akintola for them to leave the country temporarily due to rumors of a coup

Balewa and Ahmadu Belo believed none could take over the North with Ademulegun in control and non could take over Nigeria with Maimlari in charge of the arsenals in the southwest. Both of them were focused career soldiers

Ademulegun was in charge of security details for Governor General MacPherson in the 50's. After independence, Balewa wanted him to be GOC. Sons of Zik in their usual mob style checkmated and lobbied for Ironsi, same way they checkmated Odutola for Ojukwu Sr. at the Stock exchange

Jan 1966, Igbo soliders planned an ethnic coup, deceived Yoruba people that Awo would be made president to gain their support and used it for an ethnic cleansing of top politicians & soldiers in their way to clear the path for a hostile Igbo take over of the country.

Nzeogwu was put in charge of the North in an exercise called ‘Operation Damisa’. Onwatwegwu was given the instruction to go to Ademulegun’s house and kill him. Onwatweugwu breached Ademulegun’s security details and marched into his bedroom with soldiers to order his arrest.

His wife Nurse Latifah was in the room with him. She was 7 months pregnant. Ademulegun refused arrest and was killed along with his heavily pregnant wife. His two kids were in the next room and heard the gunshots that killed their parents.

They were the first to see the bodies of their parents after the mad men disguising as revolutionaries left and carried a lifelong traumatic memory of the day into their adult lives.

Nzeogwu was a friend of Ademulegun. His wife made him special dishes when he visited. His kids were fond of Nzeogwu. Yet, he sent a fellow Igbo soldier to go kill him. The mad man Onwatweugu called the killing of an innocent 7 months pregnant woman ‘Collateral damage.’

In that January coup, many senior soldiers and politicians were killed including Akintola, Maimlari, Ahmadu Belo and Balewa. But by the powers of Amdioha, all Igbo targets escaped death, Zik was tipped of the coup and escaped to the Carribeans,

Ironsi was allowed to pass at the junction towards Dodan barracks, same area Maimlari was killed. Those sent to get Okpara drank tea with him and signed the guest book.

This is the inner nature of the evil sons of Zik. They trauma bond with you and deceive you to let down your guards, They target strategic younger elements among you and use them as ignorant foot soldiers for the socially engineered manipulation agenda
