I am delighted to share that I am officially the Guinness World Record holder for fastest half marathon dressed as a witch.

Inspired by @jk_rowling , I ran with a special message wrapped around my broomstick. #ThisWitchDoesntBurn
#IStandWithJKRowling

I ran in protest of witch hunts and in honor of those, past and present, who have been victims of them.

After all these centuries, "witch" is still the epithet hurled at women who have the audacity to stand up for themselves.

Also Chelsea Mitchell, Selina Soule, Alana Smith, Thistle Petterson, & Dave Chappelle.

I wanted to write more on my other leg, but I ran out of time. 😅 But if you've spoken about the reality of sex, been punished for it, and kept speaking anyway, know that this was for you.

Just before the finish, with Wisconsin's Capitol building towering over me, the city had this symbol declaring how much they hate women painted across the road. As I ran over it, I thought of how little has changed. Women have always had to face down great power to win equality.

But what also hasn't changed is that women are fighting back. There will always be brave women (and good men) who will fight for women to have equal rights. Call us TERFs, witches, whatever. We're here speaking the truth - and truth can't be suppressed forever. Truth will win.

Thanks to Bailey from Madison for making this possible. Proving the attempt was almost harder than the attempt itself, and one of the most challenging parts was finding someone willing and able to run a half marathon with a complete stranger to act as witness. Thank you! 💜🤍💛

Shout-out to @Wild_Womyn , whose T-shirt was also part of my inspiration for doing this. This witch doesn't burn!

To all you amazing people speaking out about reality - don't stop! We got this. The more people who point out that the emperor has no clothes, the easier it gets.
