Time for another thread on #RamNavami
Stay with me, this is very interesting.๐

I've already debunked the unscientific & unnatural birth process of "Lord Ram" as per the Valmiki Ramayana. Now, its time to look into the history of this festival.
First, let's take a look at the calendars used by historians & ancient rulers in India. The Saka calendar started in 78 AD (also the current official calendar of India) supported by TONS of archaeological evidence.
The Hindu Vikram Samvat said to originate in 57 BC doesn't have any archaeological references before the 9th century. Completely based on Hindu scriptural legends and pushed as the Hindu calendar today, with the parallel use of Saka Calendar (because its older n more accurate๐)
The basic difference in Saka & Vikram Samvat is that the fortnights are reversed - Vikram Samvat 2080 first month Chaitra started on 8 March, while the Saka Samvat Chaitra started on 22 March (day of Gudi Padwa) and today's the 9th day of Chaitra. Hence, Ram "Navami".
There's a whole different story how the Hindu festivals are falling on the wrong days as per the Vikram Samvat, they're supposed to happen 15 days before, because the "Krishnapaksha" falls first in Vikram Samvat. In Saka Samvat, "Shuklapaksha" precedes the "Krishnapaksha".
Now, let's check historical records. Keep in mind that the Saka Samvat has been used throughout Indian history from 78 AD onwards.
There is a very clever conspiracy at play since many centuries to cover up the real history of our nation by overshadowing King Asoka's Birthday.
Exhibit 1 - Pilgrimage of Faxian (Records of Buddhist Kingdoms India & Ceylon 399-414AD) translated by Herbert A. Giles (Official ASI records)
In 408AD, he visits Asoka's capital (now Patna) and observes an annual celebration on 8th of second moon that year.
Calculating the date according to Saka calendar in 408 AD, we arrive at 8th of Chaitra month (Shuklapaksha), which in this year was yesterday (29 March 2023).
People gather, make huge pagodas adorned with Buddhas and celebrate the former Kings' Birthday.
Exhibit 2 - Alberuni's India translated by Edward C. Sachau
He visits in the 11th century, makes an extremely detailed record about Vedas, Puranas, Mahabharata story (called Bharata at the time), but NO SINGLE MENTION OF "LORD RAM".
Since many centuries have passed since Faxian's visit & the original Buddhist culture is almost finished, there are new festivals in place. Completely detailed by Alberuni. The 8th & 9th of Chaitra have no festivals, also the full moon follows the 11th day confirming Saka Samvat.
As per the above historical references, its pretty clear that the character of "Lord Ram" was invented sometime in the last 900 years, most probably to cover up the actual history of India by overshadowing Birthday of real historical legend King Asoka as celebrated till 408 AD.
