Larry Davis was coerced into selling drugs for dirty cops in the NYPD; he profited $1,000,000 off working with them. After deciding to quit he was framed.

Attempting to arrest him, he had two guns, gave them six shots to the face, and beat the case.

Larry Davis was born and raised in the South Bronx. At a time when The Bronx was highly neglected and most of its residents struggled to make ends meet.

Larry had a high interest in music. He was known for playing multiple instruments and took a liking to DJ’ing and was one of the first with a sound system in his neighborhood.

Throughout the late 70’s he gave music his full attention, while committing petty crimes for cash. Eventually the music stopped.

According to Larry, he was selling drugs for the police since he was 15, and his nephew claimed to see Larry have at least a million dollars in dirty cop money from hustling for them.

In 1986 Larry was a prime suspect in a robbery and m*rder of four local drug dealers. They were m*rdered execution style with limited evidence.

Out of frustration NYPD went to Larry’s mother house and said “We want Larry Davis”, she said “I don’t know where he is”. In response they said “You tell him he’s gonna get a bullet right up on his forehead”.

Weeks later, Larry was found at his sister’s apartment with his then girlfriend, his infant child and his sister along with her kids. NYPD went through the apartment door and ran towards the back where Larry was. Larry told them don’t shoot and they started shooting immediately.

Larry had a .45 in one hand and a shotgun in the other hand, he shot back. Wounding six officers, all of them receiving shots to the face. One of the bullets from the exchange broke the lock to another apartment door, where Larry was able to escape from.

NYPD offered $25,000 to anyone that could give them a leading tip as to where Larry was. Larry’s family was known well, his mother took in homeless children and Larry was like a brother to them. He didn’t even have to leave The Bronx when he was on the run.

Larry knew if they caught him he would be m*rdered so he said the only way he’s turning himself in is if cameras were present. When NYPD came to arrest him the whole neighborhood was chanting Larry’s name. As we was walking he kept yelling that he sold drugs for the NYPD

In December 1987, Larry went on trial for the murder of those dealers. It was then he revealed to them about his work with the police, selling drugs for them since he was 15 and that since he wanted out they wanted him in prison or dead so he wouldn’t speak out.

Larry was found not guilty in the incident with the cops. He claimed self defense in his trial against NYPD, and in ballistic reports it shown that it was indeed NYPD that shot at him first; helping his case. He was convinced on the gun charges.

Larry was taken to trial for the m*rders he was originally arrested for and was acquitted of all but one. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1991. In prison he was brutally assaulted by the CO’s, NYPD, and their affiliates. Inmates were given permission to start trouble with… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

The assaults caused his permanent paralysis, and he fought for his life everyday until he was m*rdered in 2004 by an inmate.
