Naga & Kuki follows Christianity.
The current ongoing violence at Manipur is by Christian Naga and Kuki against Hindu Meitei.

Religious Population:
Hindu ~ 50%
Christian ~ 35-40%
Since religion doesn’t matter for declaration under Scheduled Tribe,
Meitei approached High Court of Manipur seeking reservation in Scheduled Tribe category.

Manipur High Court ruled in favour of Meitei:
>Asked Govt of Manipur to make a committee & consider granting them reservation in Scheduled Tribe.
>Meitei to get rights to buy land in Hills which is dominated by Naga & Kuki.
So Meitei are attacked!

The All Tribal Students’ Union, Manipur (ATSUM)- a Naga & Kuki Student Organisation is protesting since days.
Then they started protesting, followed by rally and then violence started.
Hindu Mandir are also burnt as part of #ManipurBurning
