At this event on the Diaa digital ID app, I asked Ukraine’s ambassador to the US Oksana Markarova about her govt promoting itself as a laboratory for predatory surveillance tech & its maintenance of a kill list that includes my colleagues Anya and @aaronjmate

She walked away

Eurasia Foundation Pamela Spratlen was on stage beside the Chairman of Visa, who celebrated the war as an opportunity to push new means of digital payments on Ukrainians.

I asked her if she she was at all ashamed to promote disaster capitalism.

A USAID guy shoved me away.

The USAID-sponsored, Visa and Google assisted Diaa app not only forces Ukrainian into a digital ID panopticon, it encourages them to snitch on fellow citizens, reporting them as Russian collaborators so they can be arrested and disappeared.

Yale-trained Mykhailo Fedorov of Ukraine’s ministry of digital transformation was on hand to sell Diia as the future of e-governance.

Fedorov previously oversaw Ukraine’s partnership with FTX, which saw $60 million in “aid” disappear in Kiev. thegrayzone.com/2022/11/15/ftx…

With Zelensky's election in 2019, the Davos-centric Fourth Instrustrial Revolution came to Ukraine.

Here's a video featuring Zelensky as Great Reset salesman shown at the DC roll-out of Diaa (introduced by tech industry PR agent/journalist Kara Swisher)

On hand for the Diia event was celebrity chef Jose Andres, who was clad in a Ukraine military jacket.

Andres’ World Central Kitchen is effectively an arm of USAID that operates in Ukraine while Andres cheers on the war and fronts for any State Dept or WH initiative he can.
