Outside the DC Jail last night, January 6 defendant supporters held signs portraying both Ashli Babbitt and USCP Officer Brian Sicknick as "Murdered by Capitol Police."

A man on the pro-J6 side tried to offer a slice of pizza across the barrier to the counter-protest side outside the DC jail.

Counter-protesters rejected the pizza and one called him an "Uncle Tom-ass [N-word]" and "House [N-word]" a few times.

James Burton McGrew, a January 6er and Marine veteran who pleaded guilty and was recently sentenced to 78 months, called into the protest at the DC jail. "Through peace and love and compassion, we can take back our country" he said.

The January 6 defendant supporters closed their event outside the DC Jail last night by singing The Star-Spangled Banner in sync with the defendants inside, a tradition they do ever night.

"USA!" they chanted afterwards. "Free J6!"
