SOME OF THE BIGGEST iOS 17 UPDATES.
NB:Officially coming September

1. No longer support iPhone X downward

You can update to iOS 17 when it's released only if you're using an iPhone XR or later. iPhone X, 8plus and 8 still enjoys the iOS 16 though.

2. Interactive Widget
This helps you do more with your widget by sliding over the standard widget to show, say, a music widget where you can play a song and it shows on the dynamic island. So many interactive widgets added as well.

3. Updated Lock screen picker

Pressing down on the lockscreen wallpaper let's to add new kaleidoscope wallpaper and also the new iOS 17 wallpaper. Wallpaper light and dark mode returned, Watch widget size can be adjusted.

4. New standby mode

If you're using a dock, at night, you can now use standby mode with your iPhone. Motion to wake, option to turn on or off AON. Standby allows you to see your widgets and controls clearly while charging on a dock "at night"

5. Updated Phone app

There is now a new card called "Contact posture". Allows you to use an emoji, sticker or picture on a contact that shows off when you call.

6. Updated Air drop

You can now airdrop media or anything else by merely bringing phones together. Instead of clicking on a phone you want to send files to, bringing it close will initiate the airdrop.

7. Updated Siri

You can now ask Siri a question without saying "Hey Siri" provided you are just done using it. There's now option to choose among "Hey" or "Siri" or whatever.

8. Big update on messages

It now allows you to swipe to reply instead of pressing and holding. Better filter for "search". You can now quickly share your location and choose the time frame for it. Checking let's FAF know when you arrive to a location. New stickers are available.

9. New journaling app

New app to write and remember. Gives you suggestions and remember activities.
