1/ Blur v2 is live!

Two BIG updates:
- Trades now use 50% less gas
- Trait bidding

2/ QUICK NOTE

As part of the Blur v2 upgrade, Blur v1 bids will no longer work.

If you previously had bids on Blur, make sure to re-create them for Blur v2.

3/ GAS OPTIMIZATIONS

Blur v2 is heavily optimized to save gas.

Trading on Blur now costs 50% less in gas.

At current gas prices, you save $16 for every NFT you buy on Blur v2.

All smart contracts for Blur v2 have been audited by Chain Light.

4/ TRAIT BIDDING

Previously you could only use Blur to place collection bids. That changes TODAY.

Blur v2 lets you bid on mids, rares, or any trait you want!

Trait bidding is supported on all collections, but only select collections earn TRAIT BIDDING POINTS

5/ TRAIT BIDDING POINTS

You can earn more points for trait bidding on Punks, Degods, Milady’s, and 9 other collections.

Trait bids earn more points based on how much higher they are than the top collection bid.

6/ SEASON 2 UPDATES

As core contributors, we view each season as a critical time for us to build infrastructure for NFTs.

In Season 1 we launched Blur’s marketplace protocol, bid pools, and countless tools for listing, sweeping, and monitoring the market.

7/ This season we’ve launched lending and BNPL (powered by Blend), full mobile support, notifications, trait bidding, and a gas-optimized v2 marketplace.

THREE key developments remain. We will share the timeline for Season 2 as soon as those developments get closer to shipping.

8/ REMINDER

You can continue to earn listing points on collections that don’t have Blend enabled. Listing points are AS VALUABLE as bidding points.

Loyalty is important for every collection. Maximize your Season 2 rewards by only listing on Blur and maintaining MAX LOYALTY.

9/ In the meantime, earn more points for Season 2 by trait bidding on the collections that have trait bidding points enabled
