WOMEN AND THEIR PLACE IN ISLAM (short thread).

There is a propaganda going on in liberal groups that islam respects women very much.

Let's see from the islamic texts themselves that how much women are valued in islam. (1)

Sahih bukhari 2858 says that women have evil omen in them. (2)

According to sahih muslim 2736, majority of people who will go to hell are women.

Sahih muslim 2738a says that women will be a minority in the heaven. (3)

Sahih muslim 511 says that prayer is disrupted by a woman, a donkey and a dog.

Based on this, in sahih bukhari 514, aisha says that muhammad have compared the women to dogs and donkeys. (4)

According to sahih bukhari 3237 and trimidhi 1160, a wife's consent doesn't doesn't matter in a marriage and she can't say no if her husband calls her to make physical relations with him. (5)

Abi dawud 2146 implies that muhammad had made it permissible for men to beat their wives.

And in ibn majah 1986, he even says that a man shouldn't be asked that why he beats his wife. (6)

Sahih bukhari 5825 mentions about an incident where a man is doing domestic violence with his wife, the woman complains this to muhammad but instead of helping her, muhammad approved this act.

Infact, according to an nasai 3964, muhammad himself once hit his wife aisha. (7)

Sahih bukhari 6633 mentions about an incident where muhammad gives more harsh punishment to the rape victim rather than the perpetrator.

Muhammad only gave 100 lashes and 1 year exile as a punishment to the man but he ordered the rape victim woman to be stoned to death. (8)
