The Veil of Isis: The Statue of Liberty & the Qliphoth đ§”
The Statue of Liberty (Isis) sits on a tiny island called âMinnisais,â meaning in the Indian language, âsmall islandâ; and her foundation is an 11-pointed Star. Eleven is one of the most sacred numbers in the Occult.
According to Aleister Crowley, Eleven is the Great Magical Number. It is known as the Signaling Number to identify fellow occultists. Eleven is the Numerical Embodiment of the 'Great Work', the synthesis between opposing forces.
Within Thelema, the Great Work is generally defined as those spiritual practices leading to the accomplishment of the True Will of one's Self in Mystical Union (Yoga) with the All.
The Great Work and 'Abrahadabra' are interconnected. 'Abrahadabra' has ELEVEN Letters.
Abrahadabra is a word that first publicly appeared in Crowley's The Book of the Law in 1904, which is the central sacred text of Thelema. Crowley described it as "the Word of the Aeon, which signifieth The Great Work accomplished".
This is in reference to his belief that the writing of Liber Legis (another name for "The Book of the Law") heralded a new Aeon for mankind that was ruled by the god Ra-Hoor-Kuit (a form of Horus the Child).
Abrahadabra is, therefore, the "Magical Formula" of this new age.
In the Book of Thoth, Crowley refers to Abrahadabra as a 'cypher' of the Great Work.
Abrahadabra" is also referred to as the "Word of Double Power". More specifically, it represents the uniting of the Microcosm with the Macrocosmârepresented by the Pentagram and the Hexagram.
Crowley says that Abrahadabra is a symbol of the "establishment of the Pillar or Phallus of the Macrocosm...in the void of the Microcosm".
Also, symbolized by the rose and the cross, the circle and the square AND the FIVE and the SIX.
As we have discussed, the Statue of Liberty sits on top of an 11 pointed star.
The number 11Â in the Bible Strong Accordance References:Â Â Abaddon or the Angel of the Bottomless Pit! The Angel of the Abyss: This will be important later in the thread.
According to the Sefer Yetzirah:
'TEN is the number of the ineffable Sephiroth, TEN and Not Nine, TEN and not ELEVEN. Understand this WisdOM, and be WISE by the perception. Search out concerning it, restore the Word to its creator, and replace Him who formed it upon His thrONE.'
Eleven is one more than the number of the ten-commandments of Moses, & it falls short of Twelve, the Number of grace & perfection.
In Jewish Mysticism, the 11 Pointed star & number 11 are the representation of evil or impure spiritual forces, the adverse Sephiroth or Qliphoth.
Kabbalah divides everything in this world into either Sitra DâKedushah (Side of Holiness) or Sitra Achra (Side of Impurity)âliterally meaning âthe other sideâ. There is nothing that is in betweenâevery thought, action or creation has its source either in Kedushah or Kelipah.
The 11 Pointed Star represents the Sitra Achra (Tree of Death).
The Eleven Pointed Star is called a Hendecagram which represents the Qliphoth that the Statue of Liberty stands on-top of representing the "Shells" or "Husks" which are the representation of evil spiritual forces.
This Realm of Evil is the "Sitra Achra", the "Other Side" opposite holiness.
Lady Liberty can be seen as a manifestation of the "Other Side" or the Sitra Achra (Qliphoth).
11 correlates with the letter K, which represents Kether on the Tree of Life. The Sitra Achra are 10 qlippa that are opposite the 10 sephiroth; where the 11 comes in is at Thaumiel which is the âtwin godsâ, representing duality in place of Kether, meaning âCrownâ of the Sephirot.
On the Tree of Life, the 11th Hidden Sephiroth is called Da'ath. Da'ath is often associated with Knowledge.
In the Crowley's Qabalistic Systen, the Abyss contains the 11th (hidden) Sephiroth, Da'ath, which Separates the Lower 7 Sefirots from the Supernals, the Upper 3 Sefirots.
This account derives from the Hermetic view of Genesis, in which Da'ath represents the fall of man from a unified consciousness into a duality between ego & divine nature. The Abyss is the great gulf or void between the phenomenal world of manifestation and its noumenal Source.
The Abyss is guarded by the demon Chorozon. He represents those parts of one's consciousness and unconsciousness -- "a momentary unity capable of sensation and of expression," in Crowley's terms -- that are unwilling or unable to enter the Divine.
According to Crowley, "Crossing the Abyss" is regarded as a perilous operation, and the most important work of the magician's career. Success confers graduation into the degree of Magister Templi or "Master of the Temple".
The Statue of Liberty can, also, be seen as a Physical Manifestation of the Abyss. Within the Statue of Liberty is even a spiral staircase that resembles our DNA!
In the next part, we will discuss Lady Liberty's Seven Pointed Daidem (Crown) to the Phallic Looking Torch.
