A Cannibal's Dream Cuisine:
The process often involves them signing an NDA and agreeing to certain conditions. The elites will then introduce the chefs to certain people in power, who are known to have certain preferences for what they want cooked.
These chefs will then be tasked with cooking specific dishes and meals that meet the requirements of these powerful people, and they are often expected to meet their exact demands. The chefs will have to sign a further NDA and keep this information secret.
Any violation can lead to severe consequences.
Those chefs who agree to follow these conditions and meet these requirements are then given the opportunity to cook for the rich and powerful figures. So ofcourse this gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment. The caveat?
They are often given large salaries and are treated with great respect by these people. They can also gain a lot of fame and influence in the cooking world, and they can eventually become world-renowned chefs in their own right. So why would this be considered a negative?
The cost of this is that they have to keep the secrets of their clients and cannot tell anyone about what they are serving and what their clients want. It is a dangerous balance between fame and power. These figures are taking risk letting letting people into their circle.
If they are able to please their clients and make them happy with their dishes, they will be able to build long-lasting relationships with them and gain a loyal customer base.
There are few chefs who are able to successfully maintain this balance of secrecy & quality.
But when they do they build up great wealth and influence in the food industry.
However, it's not easy to maintain these relationships and it can take a great toll on the chefs.
Why? What would you do if you are requested to cook a dish that involves human flesh?
What would you do if you found out it was kids?
What would you do if you found out the politicians & celebrities are cannibals who you grew up being a fan of?
What would you do if you found out where they are taken from?
Then imagine trying to pretend it does not bother you.
They must constantly keep the secrets they know and the requirements of their clients, even at great personal risk.
Some of these children are brought in fairly healthy. They are treated good up until its time to kill them. They are monitored and feed meals to fatten them up.
Ask Anthony Bourdain. He knows all about "Slaughter Week". This is when these chefs are tasked with preparing these meals prior to the guest who are powerful figures to arrive.
I gave a list of those who are usually at these dinner events. Harvey Weinstein was one.
Chefs who serve these people often lead lives of great excess and luxury, with luxurious homes, fancy cars and expensive vacations. Even their own shows and products. Features and Even cameos in films.
But they can also be exposed to dark and twisted elements of this Job.
The constant pressure to maintain secrecy and please high-demanding people might lead to stress, anxiety and even psychological issues.
Some chefs who serve the elite have struggled with addiction, depression, and even suicide.
Why wouldn't they? Now you know why.
