MetaMask collects your IP when you send transactions.
Your seed phrase and personal privacy at risk.
I got tired of that. Once you try another wallet, you can't go back anymore 🧵👇
2/ In case you missed it, MetaMask updated their privacy policy on November 24, 2022.
"Infura will collect IP addresses and Ethereum addresses of MetaMask users when they send transactions."
Let's consider some alternatives:
3/ @Rabby_io
When I downloaded this wallet, I instantly thought, "Why did I use MetaMask all this time?"
Rabby has a very intuitive and easy-to-use user interface.
All coins from various chains are promptly shown in the same place, with no need for manual adding.
4/ In this wallet:
• You will be notified of any related risks before signing a transaction.
• Switching between chains does not require confirmation.
• You can easily choose your gas settings and whitelisted wallets for transactions.
5/ The team behind @DeBankDeFi is the developer of this wallet.
If you've ever used their portfolio, you're likely familiar with its wide range of features.
They have carried over many of these features to their wallet as well.
6/ @0xFrame
This is a privacy-focused wallet for EVM chains.
It can be a little difficult for newbies to use this wallet.
But if you're a crypto pro and you want to have everything under control every time you want, then this could be for you.
7/ In this wallet, you'll see:
• Security checks for transactions.
• Easy display of NFTs.
• Simple switching between RPCs for chains that provide Alchemy.
Give it a try if you want more control over your Web3 wallet.
8/ @GetBlockWallet
Blockwallet utilizes private proxies to remove sensitive and privacy information, ensuring security.
It supports all EVM chains and facilitates bridges between them.
They also provide front-running bot protection known as "flashbots"
9/ I think many of you remember that MetaMask is collecting your data through Infura RPC.
Therefore, @DefiLlama has provided us with another RPC - @LlamaNodes.
Now, you can use Llama's free RPC instead of Infura RPC.
10/ @xdefi_wallet
This wallet is your go-to if you want to have both EVM and non-EVM chains all together.
Indeed, it also offers support for Bitcoin, Doge, NEAR, Cosmos, and Solana as well.
11/ And if you go to their site, you can:
• Swap or bridge tokens between chains.
• Choose from some of the best Pools and Farms shared directly by xdefi.
• Manage your portfolio and DeFi investments.
12/ There are quite a few more wallets to try, like @TallyHoOfficial, @coin98_wallet, and many others.
Without considering TrustWallet, because I think that's already quite well-known. LOL.
That's it.
