A big part of my job as a researcher in 2017 & then as a political journalist from 2018 going forward was covering how much EFFORT & plotting there was by Obama, Comey, McCabe, Biden, Rice & many others took to get @GenFlynn OUT of the Trump White House just as fast as they could.
The Obama/Biden/Loretta Lynch/James Comey goon squad had to invent something to go after Flynn for.
Then FBI Counter Intel head Bill Priestap helpfully took handwritten notes of a meeting on Jan 4, 2017, as Obama/Biden/Comey/Rice discussed how they could 'get' Flynn.
Had there been anything REAL to investigate Flynn for, they'd have discussed it at that meeting.
There was nothing.
So the group casting about & discussing ideas about what they could to force Flynn out of the Trump WH, get him to lie [or claim that he did] then get him fired.
Since there was nothing real they could use to get Flynn on, it was left to then Vice-President Joe Biden to proffer the idea to the group of CLAIMING THAT FLYNN HAD VIOLATED THE LOGAN ACT as a pretext for investigating him.

Ironically the notetaker at the meeting who jotted down it was VP Biden who broached the idea to the group in the WH meeting about using a supposed violation of the Logan Act to target General Flynn was none other than...
FBI agent Peter Strzok.
The same agent who would...
...less than 3 weeks later drop into Flynn's office in the WH for a 'friendly chat' arranged by James Comey & Andrew McCabe.
The chat was about an illegal leak of classified phone call transcripts to the Washington Post's David Ignatius who wrote a column bringing up the Logan Act and 'wondering' if somehow Flynn had violated Logan Act in his conversations with Kislyak.
Understand the timeline:
An awful lot of people were upset Trump had won that 2016 election over Clinton.
They were looking for a way to 'explain' how Hillary could have lost to an 'idiot' like Trump.
Hillary & her Fake News stenographers had spent the previous month relentlessly floating the narrative that she had not really lost the election at all...
...but rather Trump had had the election stolen for him by the Russians.
Then two specific events STRENGTHENED that "Russia stole it for Trump!" narrative in Jan 2017:
First, on Jan 11, Buzzfeed news published what is commonly referred to as "The Steele Dossier", supposedly a compilation of 'intelligence reports' detailing how Trump & the Russians were colluding together to influence the 2016 election.
Second, Ignatius published THIS column in the Washington Post on Jan. 12 in which he VERY LOUDLY WONDERED if Gen. Flynn had violated the Logan Act by calling up and having several conversations with Russian ambassador Kislyak.

The double-whammy of Buzzfeed publishing the Steele Dossier coupled with Ignatius' column in the WP threw gas on the already burning fire in the FAKE NEWS MEDIA that the American public had just been CHEATED of a Hillary Clinton presidency due to Russian perfidy.
So...timeline:
Jan 4, big pow wow in White House. Heap big chief Biden intros idea of Logan Act to target Flynn.
Jan 12, illegal leak of classified Flynn/Kislyak phone call transcripts to WP.
After increasingly outraged smoke signals from Fake News for more than a week...
...on Jan 21, 2017, 2 FBI agents show up to interview Gen Flynn in the White House about his phone calls with Kislyak.
1 agent is named Peter Strzok. He's pictured below on the left.
The other agent is Joseph Pienka. He's pictured below on the right.
