Meet neo-Nazi and Unite the Right attendee Charleen Ryan (63) aka "Char Gasemall" from Villa Hills, Kentucky! #LOSBlondeShadesUTR

This dedicated League of the South member mingles with some of the worst racists on this website. #IgniteTheRight

Though “Char Gasemall" captured our attention with her name referencing the gas chambers of the Holocaust, we more recently learned she used a different name thanks to an old tweet from @socialistdogmom.

Char, it turns out, had several accounts.

@socialistdogmom On Gab, we located a "Charleen" account with an interesting profile photo. The image showed a black vest with the black and white League of the South patch, and below it, another patch with a hint: Kentucky.

@socialistdogmom Next, we checked archives of the oldest Twitter account (@/CharleenRyan4) for more hints. The archives showed the old public profile information for “Charleen Ryan” of Villa Hills, Kentucky.

@socialistdogmom We found a woman with that name in that location, but we still needed a face…
And then a DUI arrest record for a Charleen M. Ryan in nearby Boone County, Kentucky was located.

Could this be the one?

@socialistdogmom Now that we had a face, we could search for photos of this proud internet Nazi at Unite the Right.

Hello #LOSBlondeShadesUTR. We found you.

@socialistdogmom Charleen Ryan of Kentucky traveled quite a bit with the League of the South group. Here is a dreary meetup in Knoxville, Tennessee, where they protested… a brick wall?

We spy a vest that is similar to a profile photo 👀

@socialistdogmom We also caught a glimpse of Charleen's blonde fringe behind a National Socialist Movement banner at a "White Lives Matter" rally in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

@socialistdogmom League of the South was officially banned from Charlottesville after UTR and has greatly diminished its street presence.

In the meantime, Charleen Ryan has become much more active online. On Gab, she likes to post Nazi stuff. Typical, Hitler-worshiping genocidal stuff.

@socialistdogmom Charleen rarely posts her own content on X to avoid being suspended again.

Instead, this serial ban evader constantly boosts some of the worst nazis and racist trolls on the site, including associates of “The Shed”.

@socialistdogmom @murphtracks While we could wrap this thread up here, Charleen's social media boosting presents an interesting case study demonstrating how hate movement members are connected in the online world.

Let’s take a peek at more Gab and Twitter/X reposts.

@socialistdogmom @murphtracks Of course, Charleen frequently shares content from fellow LOS members. Here is Michael Hill, founder of League of the South, who spent years traveling with the hate group to rallies and protests across the country.

@socialistdogmom @murphtracks @Hatewatch Charleen reposts Michael Ralph Tubbs, the Florida LOS leader who tried to "instigate a race war" and served four years in prison for theft of munitions from the US military.

@socialistdogmom @murphtracks @Hatewatch LOS member Robert “Bob” Isaacs aka "Ike Baker" has shown up on Charleen's timeline, another one who frequented on-the-ground events.
