I was profoundly moved to meet with survivors of the October 7th massacre and families of Hamas’ hostages.
Together, we began to post photos of the hostages outside my office to stress the urgent need to bring them all home.
My office is posting every last one.
I met with Ronen & Orna Neutra whose son, Omer, is currently held by Hamas.
The day before the attack was the last time he spoke with his parents.
As a father, hearing Omer's story was heartbreaking. Together, we hung his poster to stress the urgent need to get him home.
I also met with Yonatan Diller, who was celebrating with his friends at the Nova Music Festival.
His friends, Guy Illouz and Itai Svirsky, were later forcefully taken by Hamas.
I met Maya Parizer, who was also celebrating with friends at the Nova Music Festival.
She barely escaped death because she took a left turn instead of a right leaving the festival.
Her friends, Mia Schem, Nadav Popplewell, and Noa Argamani were kidnapped by Hamas.
I met with Yehuda Jefferey Beinin and his grandson Netta Alzili, whose parents Liat Beinin Atzili and Aviv Atzili were both abducted by Hamas.
Liat is an American citizen. The last signal they had from her phone was in Gaza.
I met with Rotem Kooper, whose parents were kidnapped by Hamas.
His mother, Nurit Kooper, was freed on October 23rd. His father Amiram Kooper is still being held captive by Hamas.
I also met with Adele Raemer.
Her neighbors in Kibbutz Nirim, Gad Haggai, Yagev Buchshtab and Rimon Kirscht, were abducted by Hamas.
She said her entire community will feel unsafe until Hamas is no longer at her doorstep.
My office will display every last one of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas until they are safely returned home.
We won't stop sharing their stories until then.
