I was profoundly moved to meet with survivors of the October 7th massacre and families of Hamas’ hostages.

Together, we began to post photos of the hostages outside my office to stress the urgent need to bring them all home.

My office is posting every last one. I met with Ronen & Orna Neutra whose son, Omer, is currently held by Hamas.

The day before the attack was the last time he spoke with his parents.

As a father, hearing Omer's story was heartbreaking. Together, we hung his poster to stress the urgent need to get him home.

Innocent Israelis were the victims of a terrorist attack that resulted in the largest loss of Jewish lives since the Holocaust.

Now we know that the tragedy at the Gaza hospital was not caused by Israel. I grieve for every innocent person and brave Israeli soldier killed since Hamas started this war.

If not for the horrific attacks by Hamas terrorists, thousands of innocent Israelis and Palestinians would still be alive today.

I’m very proud that @ENERGY has chosen the MACH2 project covering Eastern Pennsylvania as one of its hydrogen hubs.

However, I’m also very disappointed that Western Pennsylvania’s DNA H2Hub proposal was not funded.

Today, allies of payday lenders, debt collectors, and financial scammers who exist to rip off consumers are at the Supreme Court asking the right-wing majority to gut the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). The CFPB has helped protect hard-working Americans and Pennsylvanians from junk fees, financial scams, and other rip-offs.

It exists to protect consumers, not the big banks and corporations that make their buck screwing over the American people.

Today the Supreme Court upended the basic concept that diversity is our strength as a country.

Institutions of higher education are places where people of all backgrounds come to learn more about themselves and the world around them. Today’s action tries to erase the very simple fact that historical racism exists in this country.

It’s a cowardly decision that will have negative impacts for years to come.

President Biden needs to consider using the 14th Amendment if necessary. The entire GOP debt ceiling negotiation is a sad charade, and it’s exactly what’s wrong with Washington. We’re playing with fire and the livelihoods of millions just for the GOP to try and turn the screws on hungry Americans.
