#ExclusiveThread 🧵 | A story of Hamas taking over Al-Shifa Hospital and stealing supplies was popularized by a video with a supposed "Palestinian nurse" speaking from the hospital.

🔍 Eekad meticulously examined the video's authenticity, shedding light on potential inaccuracies in the story and probing the reasons for its widespread dissemination.

🚩 The clip gained widespread attention and was shared by many accounts, including Israeli journalist Edy Cohen, amassing millions of views. It featured a "nurse" describing the conditions inside the hospital, with explosion sounds audible in the background.

🚩 The video was further shared by a variety of additional accounts:

✅ Analysis of the girl's English accent reveals notable deviations in her pronunciation, especially of the letter 'r,' from standard Arabic accents, suggesting a fluency in Hebrew or a European language like French.

✅ Her mispronunciation of Arabic letters also suggests a lack of fluency in the local dialect.

🚩 Our doubts intensified when we noticed a striking consistency in the sound of the repeated blasts, raising a major red flag, as it contradicted the expected variation in sounds that would typically come from random bombardments hitting different roofs and buildings.

🔊〰️ Eekad's team conducted a thorough technical examination of the audio recording, disclosing compelling evidence that the sounds of the explosions were not authentic.

🚩A meticulous analysis of the initial explosion and its sound waveform, compared with those of the subsequent ones, revealed a remarkable similarity.

🔊〰️ This identical pattern was consistently observed in the sound waves of all the repeated explosions throughout the video.

🚩 This striking resemblance went beyond just the shape of the sound waves; there was also a consistent length in the first wave.

🔊〰️The initial sound wave from the first explosion measured exactly three milliseconds.

🔊〰️Further analysis of the initial waves from later explosions showed the same precise duration of three milliseconds in each case.

💡 This consistency strongly indicates that the sound of a single explosion was repeatedly duplicated throughout the video.

🔍 Taking our investigation a step further, we closely examined the initial segments of both the first and second explosions and found that they shared the same frequency. This uniform frequency was present in all the explosions in the video, suggesting the likelihood that a single explosion sound was replicated throughout.

🔊〰️ Our team employed the Audacity app to visually analyze the sound waves by plotting them as spectrograms. The analysis clearly showed a pattern: the explosion sounds were repeated systematically and rhythmically throughout the video.

💡In measuring the intervals between each explosion, we identified two clear patterns. The first involved the initial four explosions, which had a consistent interval of about 10 seconds between them. The sequence of these blasts unfolded as follows:

✅ 00:00:08
✅ 00:00:19
✅ 00:00:29
✅ 00:00:39

Conversely, the second pattern, observed in the last three explosions, displayed a shorter interval with just a 4-second gap between each:

✅ 00:00:45
✅ 00:00:49
✅ 00:00:53

📢 This analysis leads us to conclude that the widely-shared clip is likely fabricated. Moreover, the accent of the featured individual does not correspond with Palestinian or Arab origins.

📢 Our investigation indicates that the blast noises heard originate from a single sound that has been repeatedly used throughout.

🔴‼️ Our detailed investigation has led to several important conclusions:

1⃣ Firstly, the video appears to be aligned with Israeli media strategies, seemingly to rationalize the targeted attacks on Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza Strip, a vital medical facility.

2⃣ The clip's extensive circulation in various languages hints at an Israeli intent to escalate hostilities towards the hospital, potentially aiming for its capture.

3⃣ Additionally, the use of this video could be a tactic to instill fear in the civilians of northern Gaza, prompting them to evacuate the hospital.
