1. Siddharth Varadarajan is the son of IAS officer Muthusamy Varadarajan.
Muthusamy Varadarajan was a minister at the Indian High Commission in London from 1979 to 1983.
2. Muthusamy Varadarajan was a son of Ombalapadi Appasamy Muthusamy.
He was a high-ranking police officer under Britishers.
3. In 1959 father of Siddharth Varadarajan gave the order to fire on a mob which has set fire to his vehicle. It led to two deaths and many injured but due to the baking of his senior, there was no action against him.
4. Many IAS officers and other powerful people used to send the pregnant lady to the USA. As per the rules, a newborn baby in a USA hospital gets USA citizenship.
Siddharth has got USA citizenship with this route!
5. Interestingly his elder brother Tunku Varadarajan aka Patanjali Varadarajan has British citizenship!
6. Siddharth married to Nandini Sundar.
Nandini Sundar is the daughter of formal IAS couple S Sundar and Pushpa Sundar.
