Once upon a time, Ghislaine Maxwell was the #1 most viral person on the internet. For 15 years, she patrolled Reddit, becoming the 1st user in history to earn more than 1 million "karma" points.

Gizmodo called her "the stand-in for Reddit."

But for 15 years, her actual identity remained secret & she was known only as "MaxwellHill."

2. But how do we know her secret online identity and why does it matter?

🔹First, how we know.

On July 6, 2020, the former CEO of Reddit Ellen Pao spilled the beans--right here on Twitter--that she had once attended a Kleiner Perkins Christmas Party in 2011 where Ghislaine Maxwell was in attendance & remarked that "we knew about her supplying underage girls for sex."

This sent the internet into a frenzy and triggered internet anons to start making the connection between Reddit and Maxwell--a theory that had already been simmering in the dark corners of reddit and 4chan.

3. By July 8th, an extensive investigation persuasively linking user "MaxwellHill" to Ghislaine Maxwell appeared on Reddit itself.

4. The major findings revealed about user MaxwellHill

🔻Member since 2006
🔻1st redditor to w/1 million Karma
🔻Major manipulator of news through moderating:
r/Worldnews, 24.5M subs--one of the most influential pages on all of the internet
🔻She also moderated several other influential subreddits, including: r/politics, r/technology, r/travel, r/health, r/economics, r/environment, r/cyberlaws & several more
🔻There had been NO POSTS since her arrest
🔻There had been NO POSTS during the infamous Kleiner Perkins Christmas party

5. More evidence that Ghislaine Maxwell was indeed u/MaxwellHill on Reddit:

🔻The user promoted legalizing child pôrn on r/Worldnews.
🔻The user was notably absent from posting during the exact dates of the Madeleine McCann disappearance.
🔻The user complained about over-zealous child protection laws

6. But the discoveries didn't stop there.

Researchers linked her to another identity on reddit: u/anutensil, which also was very active on the same reddit pages as MaxwellHill.

They also discovered that she was using both her reddit identities to lurk on the then popular free-speech reddit alternative Voat.

7. Now we have the "HOW" & "WHAT" she was doing, and must answer the "WHY?"

Answer: Control.

The entire honey-trap operation they ran in the real world was all about controlling people, and then through controlling people they could control institutions.

But as we know all too well today in this era of extreme internet censorship: it's not enough to merely control institutions--strict control over information and narratives is essential, too.

IOW, Maxwell's operation wasn't just about capturing the agency of powerful individuals, it was also about capturing the minds & hearts of the masses.

If you can control the information people are exposed to, you can control what they think about.

If you can control the slant of the information people are exposed to, you can control how they think about those things.

8. Remember that day when reddit banned 2000 subreddits--almost all on the right? Included was r/TheDonald, one of the most influential social media pages on the entire internet supporting Donald Trump's presidency. When it was banned it had about 800k subs.

These bans came in late June 2020, literally just days before Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested on July 2, 2020.

Other influential accounts across other platforms were also banned in quick succession: Trump, Stefan Molyneux and Jared Taylor of American Renaissance to name just a few.

One interesting thing to note here is that Vanity Fair is owned by Conde Nast--the same company that owns Reddit.

9. Vanity Fair Connections.

In 2003, Vanity Fair ran an extremely positive "puff" piece on Jeffrey Epstein.

So when Conde Nast bought reddit in 2006, it was purchased by allies of Jeffrey Epstein while Ghislaine Maxwell was a rising star at reddit.

The internet researchers ask the question: did she help broker the sale?

10. Ghislaine Maxwell: In her father's footsteps

Israeli Super-Spy Robert Maxwell was Ghislaine's father. His media empire included Textbooks, scientific journals, and newspapers--just to name a few.

IOW: he was a gatekeeper of information--just as Ghislaine became.

11. And that takes us back to where we started: u/MaxwellHill.

Gizmodo famously remarked of the #1 most viral person on the internet: "It's a hell of an achievement, and everyone at Giz was curious about how MaxwellHill made it happen."

12. WIDER COLLUSION BETWEEN BIG TECH & GOVERNMENT

As we reflect on the power Ghislaine & her partner Jeffrey Epstein obtained & the control they wielded over our unwitting lives, it's worth remembering that their crimes weren't just sex trafficking kids to powerful people. And their influence continues to be felt in today's censorship-heavy paradigm.

Remember Kleiner Perkins--that company that infamously brought Ghislaine to its Christmas party in 2011? Here's a picture of one of its VCs, John Doerr, colluding with various other titans of tech at the dawn of the mass censorship age.
