In 2010, A Japanese University started a project called "Flying Syringe"
Plan was to genetically modified mosquitos and use them as flying Vaccine

Project was funded by Bi11 Gates

Project showed good results but there were legal barriers for further trial

Legal barriers are for common public not for Army

DARPA is scientific research unit of US defense, responsible for development of emerging technologies for use by military

In 2013, DARPA started research on using mosquito as vaccine
As usual research was funded by Bi11 Gates

Why US army is interested in Mosquitos ?
