Saying “physiognomy is real” is a top-notch dig because it insults both body & mind. Much of the time, it holds true. Turns out, you CAN judge a book by its cover.

In the olden days, folks were allowed to notice such things. It turns out that behaving like an orc brings about more orc-like characteristics. It is the way that God programmed the world. Happy people generally look happy. (5/7)

If you have ever read the book, the whole question behind Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" is, "What would happen in a world where this was NOT the case?" Dorian Gray was the exception that proved the rule. (6/7)

@bw_phillips @DragonsNotDinos I abhor Sovietism with every fiber of my being, but still joke with friends about how great their anthem sounds. As I said in another reply, aesthetics can be appreciated universally. Regardless of regime, we are all human.
