14 years ago, people still believe this lie.
Enemy insurgents are not civilians. They are war criminals for posing as civilians while engaged in combat. Why is that a war crime? Because it increases the odds of real civilians being mistaken for combatants.
Wikileaks used distraction techniques to create a false narrative. They pointed to a camera, while the pilots talked about observing weapons. To distract people from the real weapons the group was carrying & trick them into thinking the pilots pretended the camera was a weapon.
The insurgent I circles has an AK. He's trying to hide it against his body, but if you watch the video you can see it repeatedly.
The war criminal in the striped shirt has an AK.
The war criminal on his left has a heavier weapon, can't tell from this angle if it is an RPG launcher or medium machinegun.
Participating in combat in civilian clothes is a war crime punishible by death.
I wonder how many people watched this video and allowed Wikileaks to distract them from the truth because they highlighted the insurgents carrying cameras & not the ones carrying weapons?
The pilots, from long distance on a small screen believed this to be an RPG, it is a camera. But what was he doing with his camera?
He was acting as a forward observer, because he showed the pictures of the Bradley fighting vehicle took to the insurgents with him.
After showing the insurgents their targets, he puts the camera back on his shoulder. Note how they put text on the screen about cameras & phones. But they don't note all the weapons being carried in this insurgent group.
That's lying by omission. Fools believed them.
