While driving home yesterday, we noticed a strange landmark on the Sat-nav. All it said was “The Pole”. (1/n)

Clicking further revealed little else other than a series of very positive reviews and the exciting detail that it was open 24/7. What was this mysterious establishment? (2/n)

Google offers the intriguing news that it is a “place of worship”, but one open 24/7? (3/n)

And the reviews are all very positive, and speak of a profound spiritual calm emanating from this structure. Luckily there is also a photo…. (4/n)
