Our media’s hatred of Modi’s pretty surreal. The news all spins his election as a loss—because his party only managed to win 2.5 times as many seats as the runner-up, rather than 6 times as many (as it did in 2014 & 2019, the only times since 1984 that a party has won a majority)
He currently has the highest net favorability polling of any world leader; India currently has the highest net agreement polling on “is our country generally heading in the right direction”; he has 2X the net favorability of a Gandhi among Indians; & economic indicators back him.
India had an even slower per capita GDP growth rate than China from 1950 to 1980; its independence caused the world’s worst ever race-riots, & broke one functionally developing & already democratizing subcontinent into two failed states (then three, after another genocide); etc…
The interesting thing is that our elites back all of this backwardness—try telling them you support colonialism—precisely because an India run by elite smug incompetent commissars (the Nehru-Gandhi clan) is all they want; this is what rule by WEF means: “unaccountable networking”
Of course the WEF’s only another symptom, but it’s an apt one—the global village of which Clinton preached; longhouse fractals reaching self-similarly into every level of life to stamp out anything that might rock the boat or move in some particular direction. Aimless haranguing!
