George Galloway has threatened to sue @HopeNotHate over a flyer distributed in #Rochdale. Leaving aside the claim about supporting dictators, is it true that “His Workers Party is full of antisemites, racists and conspiracy theorists”? Let’s look at its election candidates. 1/20

WPB's #Chesterfield candidate Julie Lowe claims Jews engage in child sacrifice & plot with Freemasons, Satanists & paedophiles to take power & establish a New World Order. She disputes that 6m Jews were murdered in the Holocaust & reckons the Rothschilds bombed the Titanic. 2/20

Contesting #DundeeCentral, in Galloway's home city, for the Workers Party is Raymond Mennie. His career as a Labour councillor ended when he was jailed for corruption in public office. Now he's a 9/11 Truther who promotes almost every antisemitic conspiracy theory going. 3/20

Meanwhile, in #PoplarAndLimehouse, the @WorkersPartyGB presents Kamran Khan as a candidate for MP. His timeline (deleted since exposure) was a torrent of Nazi-grade Jew-hate and misogyny, simultaneously mocking the victims of October 7 and denying anything happened at all. 4/20

Standing in #CitiesOfLondonAndWestminster is WPB's national election coordinator Hoz Shafiei. He believes that “Zionist c***s”, as he calls them, “want all the Goyim as their slaves” and claims they have captured the UK/US governments, oppositions and media for Israel. 5/20

Colin Tasker is Galloway's candidate in #DoverAndDeal. He believes any lie that portrays Jews in a bad light, claiming Zionists inspired the Nazis and redefined antisemitism to exclude other “Semites”. His views are no better than the far-right groups contesting the seat. 6/20

Dr Mehmood Jamshed is the Workers Party candidate in #MitchamAndMorden. He wants to rid the UK of Zionism and claims that Hamas’s October 7 massacre was a false-flag operation planned by Israel in which no one actually died. 7/20

Over in #Wallasey, WPB candidate Phil Bimpson composes and shares posts equating Zionism with Nazism, demanding the "blood-thirsty" "Zionist entity" be "dissolved" and that Israeli Jews be "take[n] back to Europe". He ridicules the victims of Hamas's October 7 attacks. 8/20

Galloway's pick for #BradfordSouth is Harry Boota, who was a candidate for Ukip and the Tories before joining the Workers Party. Harry believes he's up against the "Synagogue of S*t*n" (I've redacted to avoid X filters). But maybe his hero David Icke will offer to help out. 9/20

Suneil Basu is the @WorkersPartyGB candidate in #NorthSomerset. He recently had the “great privilege” of meeting antisemitic conspiracy theorist David Miller and says he is fighting “foreign government interference to regain our sovereignty” from … guess who? 10/20

Campaigning to represent #CeredigionPreseli is Taghrid Al-Mawed. She believes "Zionist tentacles are everywhere", corrupting UK politicians and media. She claims Zionism is a "curse on the world", a "form of mental illness" and the "Number One cause of #antisemitism". 11/20

Challenging Tory PM Rishi Sunak in #RichmondAndNorthallerton is Louise Dickens. She's not only an ex-Tory councillor but also a QAnon conspiracist and admirer of “kindred spirit” former Britain First leader Jayda Fransen, a neo-Nazi jailed for hate crimes against Muslims. 12/20

Paul Moor is standing for Galloway's party in #Torbay. Paul is a man of few words, but he does like a nice picture. Especially if it's an antisemitic image. He also runs a Facebook group called “On the left with George Galloway” where anti-Jewish bigotry is rampant. 13/20

The Workers Party candidate in #ManchesterCentral, Parham Hashemi, is another fan of neo-Nazi Jayda Fransen. The ex-fuhrer of Britain First recently did an interview for @5PillarsUK explaining how she now blames Jews more than Muslims for society's problems. 14/20

Graham Padden is seeking to become Workers Party MP for #Knowsley. Graham’s social media isn’t very accessible to the public, but his choice of Facebook cover photos and a friend's post quoting him suggest that antisemitism may influence his anti-Zionist political outlook. 15/20

Caitlin Hardy is the @WorkersPartyGB candidate for #SheffieldCentral. She wants a ceasefire in Gaza now, but her response to the October 7 pogrom seems to have been more celebratory. Caitlin also amplifies antisemitic posts by known far-right extremists. 16/20

The WPB responded to my thread calling out #Wakefield candidate Keith Mason's Islamophobic posts by accusing me of faking them. But when @5PillarsUK raised the same issue, Galloway "sacked" Mason, only then to reinstate him after he apologised & promised to read the Quran. 17/20

In #BlaenauGwent, the WPB “people’s champion” Yas Iqbal appears to blame Jews, Zionists, Israelis and Israel (he uses the terms interchangeably) for all the problems of the world. There's no limit to Jewish mendacity in his eyes. 18/20

Owais Rajput, the Workers Party candidate in #LeedsCentral & #Headingley, worries about “cryptojew arab Zionist puppet leaders aiding and abetting their great satan king in israhell”, exuses Hamas's October 7 attack and amplifies neo-Nazi influencers. 19/20

Here we've seen at least 18 Workers Party candidates who promote antisemitic, racist or conspiracist narratives. And that's without even going into the track records of Galloway himself and deputy leader Chris Williamson, both of whom have been accused of antisemitism. 20/20
