Minneapolis Police Chief O'Hara held a presser earlier where he said at least 30 were arrested (we've posted 30 so far, but there are more with riot charges, we're waiting for bookings to be updated).

Most of the arrests came out of Dinkytown, but a couple were made in the Nokomis incidents we posted later in the early a.m. overnight.

The arrested parties were ages 15-23.

Five citations were issued.

MPD had 200 officers on duty. O'Hara acknowledged that several agencies assisted including UMPD, Ramsey County, Park Police, and 50 State Patrol Troopers.

There were no serious injuries and no shootings, but O'Hara said fireworks and mortars were thrown at police, persons, and property.

O'Hara was at one incident where a mortar was thrown at police (we posted at the time). At least one of the arrests was from that incident.

He said jail had a five-hour wait for bookings at one point.

MPD may release some video from the mayhem, O'Hara said.

Crime Watch will continue to update the arrests and report on any new activity that transpires the rest of the weekend.

There was a "John Doe" age 24 on the jail roster earlier this morning (pic 4, from our first internal notes).
The record is now mysteriously missing.
Anyone wondering what politician's kid this was??

Charles Houska's life sure took a downturn in the last few weeks, apparently.

Now charged with felony 2nd degree riot and misd fleeing police, as one of several charged in the July 4 mayhem in SE Minneapolis Dinkytown.

He was released before seeing a judge, so he's been charged by summons. Scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 1.
