There are a lot of Nissan Patrol firetrucks on the JDM market at the moment and they don't get enough attention.
I'm going to share one with you now, that someone on my TL... NEEDS TO BUY!
It is the best JDM deal I have EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. 🧵
This is a 1996 Nissan Patrol Y60.. and this paint and rubber seal condition is a hint of what I'm about to show you.
This comes with a TB42E inline 6-cylinder engine, a type known to be bullet proof.
This engine has only 9,995 km on the clock.
This must have been based at the most climate-controlled museum of a fire station.
Just look at this engine bay!!

I mean.. just look at that grill.. never seen a bug in its life!
Beautiful, accident-free perfection.
You might be wondering what you'd do with a Nissan Patrol fire truck if you aren't a firefighter..
This.
The interior is equally perfect. Part of the seats still have plastic on them. The vinyl floors look new. The original Safari (as Patrol is known in JDM) tags are still there from vehicle converter.
9945 kilometers driven..
Manual windows.. 🤤
The paint looks perfect, everywhere.
And if you'd want to use this for what it was meant for.. just look at those uncracked still shiny new hoses.
This thing is cherry.
The tires certainly look boring as f and will need to be replaced, seeing as they are 28 years old, but still.. they don't look dry rotted.
Factory fresh.
What is this sorcery anyway.. the jump seats still have plastic on them!!
Now here's an interesting bit.. the Y60 was introduced in 1989 with coil springs front and rear. A major departure from the leaf springs of the Patrol 160 of before.
However, for fire truck conversions, one could still get leaf springs front and rear!
