Three Ukrainian missiles were reportedly destroyed in the sky over the Kursk region late last night, according to Acting Governor Alexey Smirnov.

The U.S. is considering whether to assist Ukraine in maintaining and expanding its gains in Russia's Kursk region. Discussions include whether to provide additional armored vehicles or increase ammunition supplies, though no decisions have been made yet.

To push Ukrainian forces out of the Kursk region, the Kremlin would need about 20 brigades (around 50,000 troops), which it currently lacks, according to The New York Times. The article notes that Ukrainian forces have not yet established a large system of defensive trenches, mined the area, or set up anti-tank barriers.
