1) Rep. Eli Crane to @dbongino: “In your opinion, is the Secret Service in a better spot today with Director Rowe in charge?"

Bongino: "No. It's worse….You think this is the last incident? You're out of your mind."

2) Rep. Eli Crane to @realErikDPrince: In your professional opinion, is the Secret Service in its current form and leadership able to stop a threat like that?

Prince: "President Trump was definitely deprived of resources that day for whatever the political reason. They had one third the amount of agents covering him as were covering Jill Biden in the same region at an indoor event. She had 12 post holders covering her. Again, no statutory or constitutional authority for the first lady. Donald J. Trump had four Secret Service agents assigned."

Counter Sniper Ben Shaffer, who was working the rally in Butler, explains that local LEO offered encrypted radios to the Secret Service, but they were not taken.

4) @RepMattGaetz asks @dbongino about the possibility of “malice” being a factor in the security catastrophe of J13:

Bongino: "I don't think I put this out yet, but I'll put it out there now... it appears that for the first time in American history, we have a secret Service that is making decisions that may not be all political, but may have a political tinge to them."

Prince: "You're right. There is a long list of ways that one political party has weaponized all aspects of government in our society against their political opponent…but I don't think this was a grand conspiracy."

"Our problem is we have a federal government that doesn't have any accountability in any way, shape or form. And I push back on you in Congress to affect the bureaucracy, the one way that they care. Cut their damn budget, starve them out. Nothing else will get their attention other than their starvation."
