2/ CPJ claims Israel murdered ONLY ONE (1) journalist in all of 2023, in Lebanon.
3/ You might be thinking "am I insane, I could have sworn Israel murdered dozens of journalists in 2023."
No, family, you are not insane.
CPJ says Israel killed 65 journalists in 2023, but is only willing to classify one (1) as a murder for their "Impunity Index."
4/ The real number is much higher, of course.
Israel actually killed 107 journalists in 2023, not 65, but CPJ claims the authority to decide which Palestinian journalists count.
5/ Based on CPJ's massive undercount, Israel only "murdered" one and half percent (1.5%) of the journalists Israel killed.
CPJ's stance is that Israel is just stumbling around accidentally committing the largest mass-murder of journalists in history!
6/ The real number is 107 killed journalists, not 65, which means CPJ is willing to categorize less than 1% of the unprecedented number of journalists Israel killed in 2023 as murdered.
Shameful. CPJ's Palestine exception.
7/ How does CPJ categorize journalists Russia kills?
First, if we look at over 20 years of data we notice Russia killed less journalists (even using CPJ's massive undercount) than Israel killed in just 3 months!
8/ Out of those 59 journalists, CPJ claims Russia "murdered" exactly 39.
CPJ claims Russia murdered 61% of the journalists they killed, but claim Israel only murdered 1.5% (or less than 1% using honest numbers).
9/ Over the past two decades, Iran killed 5 journalists.
CPJ classifies 3 of the 5 (60%) journalists Iran killed as murdered.
The journalists Israel killed? 1.5% (or less than 1% using honest numbers).
10/ Over the past two decades, China killed 2 journalists.
CPJ classifies both (100%) of the journalists China killed as murdered.
Compare this to CPJ's 1.5% for the journalists Israel killed (or less than 1% using honest numbers).
11/ CPJ knows how to assign blame when they want to.
CPJ is too racist to say Israel murders journalists, even when Israel murders journalists in literally unprecedented numbers.

If CPJ classifies these killings honestly, their "Impunity Index" will look like this, which is why they will fight tooth and nail to avoid being honest.
