1/ SOFT LAUNCH of our forced displacement Gaza Maps application. It works best on larger screens.

This tool lets you view forced displacement orders (FDOs) over time.

The primary feature is "filter by date range" (which I recommend starting with when building a map). Image 2/ You may click on a population block and view the forced displacement orders (FDOs) targeting that block over time (based on your filters). This includes if the block was labeled "safe."

Note: The last record will always be empty. That is the block itself, not a map. Image

1/ Researchers: We have been methodically archiving them (link at bottom). 🧵

This Israeli is exactly correct about the horrific and criminal forced displacement maps. That's why we have been building tools to help researchers understand them. Image 2/ Databases for Palestine @databases4pal, maintains a public-facing archive of digital forced displacement maps the IDF puts out.

It is a near comprehensive database, which we are making entirely comprehensive by back-filling. Image

1/2 - The IDF did not recently order the "evacuation" (forced displacement) of Dr al-Najjar's home. That is a lie. 2/2 - The IDF previously issued 8 forced displacement orders targeting block 87.

But not for over a month.

Almost every "population block" in Gaza has been included in multiple maps. Months old maps are.

1/3 New quotes from Smotrich today are war crimes confessions.

Israel is drunk on impunity.

"Along the way, what remains of the Strip is also being wiped out, simply because everything there has become one big terror city." Image 2/3 - Targeting non-combatants. Smotrich:

"We are eliminating ministers, clerks, money changers, and key figures in Hamas' economic and administrative apparatus." Image

1/ This is MK Amit Halevi (Likud) on Israeli Channel 14.

"There is only one way to finish it, decisive victory. And by that I mean elimination or surrender [...]"

Let's explore some of Halevi's previous statements (🧵).

Video: 22 April. 2/ This quote comes from a Knesset Hearing, 16 October 2023.

"After we make it the land of Israel, Gaza should be left as a monument, like Sodom."

Sodom was a biblical city destroyed by God as punishment for its wickedness. Image

Israel murdered at least of 51 children so far with its policy of mass-starvation.

Links to evidence, meticulously collected by @PixieOfDeath, in the 2 next tweets. Current thread on Israel's policy of starvation:

1/ Several items we archived have already ended up at the Hague. A couple examples:

This quote, from MK Gideon Sa'ar, was translated by our friend @PixieOfDeath. It was also footnote #96 in South Africa's latest evidence submission. Image 2/ This video, discovered by our friend @ytirawi, is footnote #202 in the latest South Africa evidence submission to the ICJ.

It was also video #95 on .

1/ Failed at staying off Twitter, but I did build an API for Gaza Maps.

I still need to write documentation, and noticed something in the data that I am waiting to hear back from our cartographer on, but the API endpoint is complete. 2/ Please don't build using this endpoint yet, but if you want to see basically what it will look like here is the link:

Ge request, no authentication needed, returns a json array of objects sorted by date.gazamaps.com/api/v1/displac…

1/ Thread for people who need evidence Israel is committing the crime of mass-starvation as a weapon of war.

All posts in this thread are exact quotes from Israeli government or military officials. They told the whole world what the crime they were about to commit. Image 2/ Israel Katz, 12 October 2023 Image

1/ The Channel 14 producer Elad Brashi, who demanded a Shoah (Holocaust) in Gaza with gas chambers, refuses to apologize.

To the contrary, he said it again, yesterday. Image 2/ Here is what he is refusing to apologize for: Image

They are clear about what "voluntary" means if you bother to listen to them.

Western media does not. Image They are also clear that they are repeating the Gaza model in the West bank, if you bother to listen to them.

The journalist interviewing Moshe Saada is Yehuda Schlesinger. He is pro rape. Here's a quote:

"The only problem [with raping prisoners] is that it is not standard state policy to abuse these detainees. Because in general, they deserve it, and this is great revenge." Here is video of the pro-rape statements, in Hebrew. Looking for a subtitled version. If it doesn't exist, we will create it.

Ben Gurion has received weapons deliveries. We have videos of it.

Ben Gurion airport is a military target. Here is a video of the US delivering weapons to Ben Gurion Airport last summer.

1/ Shaiel Ben-Ephraim accused us, the ones fighting to prevent genocide, of "acting in bad faith and spreading blood libel."

What did that look like? Image 2/ Sidra Hassouna was a 7-year-old girl from the northern Gaza Strip who was killed in southern Gaza, displaced, with her twin sister, 15-month old brother, parents, grandparents and uncle.

He mocked the massacre of the Hassouna family as "AI bullshit."

Shaiel never apologized. Image

Can we please stop pretending like Haaretz is at all representative of Israeli media, since it is barely read inside Israel?

Mainstream Israeli media is openly genocidal, far worse than US media. Remember when a Haaretz journalist joined in the incitement against Palestinian journalists?

1/ Let's get to know Dr. Melissa Jane Kronfeld, spotted today with Ben-Gvir, and her org: High on the Har.

She is from New York and her project, targeting Aqsa Mosque, is supported by tax payers in multiple countries that consider it charity work. Image 2/ Dr. Kronfeld founded an organization apparently dedicated to tearing down the Mosque and building a Temple in its place.

The organization, named "High on the Har" is fiscally sponsored by a tax-deductible non-profit operating out of Florida, USA. Image

They did the crying baby drone trap again. This is from the first time the IDF did the crying baby sounds to lure in rescuers and murder them, roughly a year ago in Nuseirat.

They did it two nights in a row last year.

1/ The Haaretz piece on the paramedic massacre (which also included murdering families and children) expresses deep concern for ... Israeli soldiers.

"The materials also suggest that the force's conduct endangered both the soldiers themselves and other nearby units." 2/ Haaretz doesn't accuse the IDF of moral failings or war crimes, but a "lack of operation discipline."

"These materials, made public here for the first time, indicate a lack of operational discipline among the IDF Sayeret Golani unit, as well as a lack of credibility in the versions of events provided to commanders and investigators."

1/ The last leader of the Warsaw Intifada was a passionate anti-Zionist. 2/ This Jewish man, Marek Edelman, led the fight against the Nazis in the Warsaw Intifada.

After WW2 he voiced support for Palestinian *armed* resistance against the Zionist state. He recognized it was the same struggle.

He passed in October 2009.

The IDF hasn't had a designated "safe zone" on the displacement maps since 12 January.

Every time you hear western media refer to a "safe zone" or "humanitarian area," be aware that the IDF doesn't even call it that anymore. This is the last time a "safe" zone appeared on an IDF map. Image
