/ Kamala became VP in 2020 because of DEI. She became the nominee in 2024 because of DEI. Now, @DoNoHarm has compiled a list of all the ways the Biden-Harris Admin spent your money on DEI. As a certified DEI expert myself, here are my favorites:
/ The TSA deployed new "imaging technology" to "reduce the instances of enhanced screening for trans persons." Basically, TSA officers no longer ask your gender, and they don’t mind seeing unexpected "objects" when "women" walk through the body scanner. Feel safer yet?
/ HUD announced a new plan to combat the scourge of homeless asexuals.
/ Not to be outdone, the Department of Energy just celebrated a major milestone. In addition to sponsoring the "Lesbians Who Tech" conference, they raised the "Progress Pride Flag" for the third year in a row.
/ The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration held the first-ever meeting of the "Women of Trucking Advisory Board,” which aims to empower a future generation of young girls to fulfill the dream they never knew they had.
/ The Department of Commerce allocated $70.5 million exclusively for “women-owned small businesses,” which is why a lot of men now list their wives as the “owner” of their company.
/ USAID spent $5 million to learn the ways of “indigenous knowledge” in Africa, so they can be better informed when they spend billions of dollars for the benefit of key American allies like Nigeria and Uganda.
/ The CIA took time out of its busy schedule to sponsor robotics camps for "middle school students from underserved communities,” while the Institute for American Indian Arts set up a "talking circle" to "indigenize student success."
/ The Forest Service spent $1 billion on “environmental justice,” and the NEA spent more than $6 million to make the art world – notoriously a Right-wing stronghold – more “equitable.”
/ NASA, meanwhile, set up its first-ever "LGBTQI+ Vendor Equity Forum," which we can all agree is an achievement on par with, say, catching a reusable rocket booster in mid-air.
/ I could go on, but suffice it to say, all of this insanity would be magnified tenfold if we elected our first openly DEI president. If you needed one more reason to vote, this is as good as any. DEI is a cancer & this election is our best chance to excise it once and for all.
