In his first term in office: they missed the entry of the SARS-2 virus into NYC from Southern Europe bc they focused on travel from China, couldn’t organize testing and tracing, lost time and lives bc of fake hydroxychloroquine cures that didn’t work. We can’t do that again
Pandemic denialism and wasting time with Great Barrington propaganda/nonsense and spectacular fake cures like hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin that never worked may have cost him his re-election in 2020. Hopefully, lessons learned so we don’t endure this again.
Our nation depends on science and evidence-based public health leaders and leadership, a lot of bad stuff is headed our way beginning with H 5N1 with us now, SARS-3 brewing in bats somewhere in Asia, filoviruses, Mpox, and widespread tropical infection in Texas and Gulf Coast.
