For the first time in 73 days #Russia had a combined missile and drone attack overnight.

All the details coming up, but first the link to the start of Tuesday's thread for those still catching up with #Ukraine news.

I'll begin the new stories though with breaking news from occupied #Crimea.

Another car bomb attack has killed a prominent invader.

In #Sevastopol, it's reported a captain of the 1st rank of the Black Sea Fleet died when an IED exploded.

Authorities in #Ukraine says this morning's attack by #Russia "was not massive" with the belief a bigger attack will follow.

The combined attack used cruise missiles, ballistics (incl #NorthKorea missiles), as well as drones said a spokesman.

2x S-300 missiles
2x Kh-101
2x ballistic (likely NorthKorean)
#Ukraine air defence could not stop the S300s but downed the other missiles.
Of 90 drones:
37 shot down
47 stopped EW
2 flew to #Belarus/Russia
2 still fly
2 hit/landed in Ukraine.

In #Kyiv some damage was caused by debris.

Here a drone was shot down, and a fire broke out.

Within the last hour, #Ukraine's Prime Minister has announced another big cash injection from the United States.

SkyNews gives an insight into the life of #Ukraine's Air Defenders near the border with #Russia.

Each night they try to stop the drones before they hit elsewhere in the country.

Authorities claim some have already been detained after leaving the unit in the Kochenyovsky District of #Novosibirsk Region last night.

Police now say 12 escaped, but 7 have been recaptured.

It seems before they fled, the guys tried to destroy their barracks.

A look now at the flooded area around the #Kurakhivsky reservoir dam.

20m cubic meters of water were released according to #Donetsk Governor Vadim Filashkin. He says there's no threat of flooding for villages on the Volchya River, but all children have been evacuated.

In #Kyiv, the filming location for #Ukraine's version of Masterchef was damaged in the morning attack by #Russia.

The main canopy was destroyed.

In occupied #Crimea two people have been seriously injured after a bridge collapsed - no, NOT that one!

This was on the #Dzhankoy-#Maslovo road.
A car and a truck fell through after what's described as a "spontaneous collapse" on the illegally annexed peninsula.

A drone has hit a house in the border region of #Chernihiv.
The resulting fire was extinguished by firefighters an no-one was injured.

Earlier, #Russia also struck an industrial facility in #Myrhorod in the #Poltava region with drones.

This afternoon #Russia surged through no man's land to reach almost the centre of #Kupiansk.

DeepState published the video of the incursion, by two columns of vehicles, into the town in #Kharkiv.

One armoured vehicle was only stopped in the town itself and a tank was also hit.

#Russia seems to be relying on film props to continue its' invasion of #Ukraine.

The "Mosfilm" studio states it has handed over armoured vehicles and tanks, up to 65 years old, to Putin's army. 36 tanks and even 8 tractors were hauled from warehouses to assist the war effort.

A Chinese man fighting for #Ukraine has reportedly been killed.

29 year old Peng Chenliang had previously been arrested in China for anti-Russia posts on this platform. He hoped to link up with Taiwanese soldiers in Ukraine but died during shelling.
