Next Wednesday, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in U.S. v. Skrmetti. This is the culmination of our fight against the barbarism of child sex-changes, and it could be a Dobbs-style earthquake in terms of protecting children. Here's what you need to know.
2/ In Sept 2022, I published an investigation into TN’s most prestigious hospital — Vanderbilt — exposing staff talking about trans procedures as “huge money makers,” “consequences” when doctors object, and the hormones & mastectomies given to youth.
3/ The public was outraged, TN politicians demanded answers, and Vanderbilt promised to “pause” and “review” their surgeries for removing the breasts of healthy teenage girls.
4/ To urge swift action, I hosted a rally at the capitol with @MarshaBlackburn @TulsiGabbard @RobbyStarbuck @ChoooCole & more. Notably, TN Senate Leader @SenJohnson & House Leader @WilliamLamberth took the stage & committed to making a ban their first legislation of 2023.
5/ Leaders Johnson & Lamberth followed through. When the legislative season opened in Jan 2023, they put forward SB1/HB1 to ban the drugs & surgeries that were castrating, sterilizing, and mutilating TN children in the name of transgenderism — and @GovBillLee signed it into law.
6/ Not content to leave children’s bodies alone, the ACLU & Biden Administration sued the state of Tennessee to keep transing the kids. The case went through a series of court battles from a Federal Judge, up through the Sixth Circuit. But we won. Tennessee kids were safe.
7/ The ACLU and Biden Administration then took their fight to castrate, sterilize, and mutilate kids to Washington DC and the Supreme Court of the United States. In June 2024, the Court agreed to review the case.
8/ The Supreme Court consolidated the ACLU & Biden’s US DOJ into one case against Tennessee Attorney General, Jonathan Skrmetti.
9/ In the US v. Skrmetti, the Court will assess the question of whether Tennessee’s law is discriminating against children on the basis of sex, thus violating equal protection. If you’re wondering how one could possibly make this argument, allow me to explain the twisted logic…
10/ The ACLU & Biden Admin are essentially claiming that because a doctor prescribes medication to delay the harmful early onset of puberty in a girl with a medical condition, it is sex discrimination to not prescribe the same to a physically healthy boy who thinks he is a girl.
11/ The argument is obviously absurd. The ACLU & Biden Administration are relying on ideologically driven claims that have no basis in truth, and “science” that has been wholly debunked by many experts — and all of us with reason & morals — repeatedly.
12/ On December 4, 2024, TN AG Skrmetti will stand before the Supreme Court, against the ACLU and the Biden Admin, and make the case for Tennessee, and by extension all states seeking to protect healthy children from castration, sterilization, and mutilation.
13/ What gender ideology lacks in logic, science and morality, it makes up for in left wing money, violent activism, educational indoctrination, and legacy media support. But we won’t stop working to protect children from this barbaric ideology.
14/ Once the Biden Administration and trans activists are exposed at the Supreme Court, the next step is a nationwide ban on child sex-changes. This isn't just good politics. It's morally necessary, and it's time Republicans enacted it.
